Product Description

After struggling for years to have a child, Claire Rasmussen, 34, turns to adoption, only to find new obstacles on the path to motherhood. Then she gets an unlikely phone call and soon learns that a distant uncle possesses the secrets of time travel. Within weeks, Claire, husband Ron, and brother David find themselves on a train to Tennessee and 1945, where adoptable infants are plentiful and red tape is short. For a time, they find what they seek. Then a beautiful stranger enters their lives, the Navy calls, and a simple, straightforward mission becomes a race for survival. Filled with suspense, romance, and heartbreak, HANNAH’S MOON, the epic conclusion of the American Journey series, follows the lives of four spirited adults as they confront danger, choices, and change in the tense final months of World War II.

4.0 out of 5 stars Suspense, more suspense, and a sweet baby to help everyone cope. 19 April 2017
By Jay Bee - Published on Amazon.com

This is another great read in the American Journey series by John A. Heldt. An adventure that touches all one's emotions, beginning with Claire and Ron's loss of another baby, and then their discovery that they can go back to 1945 and adopt. After their arrival in 1945, Ron is arrested (yes!) after giving aid to a man being beaten in an alley and is given a surprising sentence which leads to teeth clenching suspense if Ron will be able to complete his sentence in time to return to 2017. During the time Ron is serving his sentence, Claire, his wife and David, her brother have a close call with the FBI. Plus, there is the fact that David has lost their crystal.

I was given a copy of this book and I am choosing to write a review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time Travel never gets old 29 April 2017

Another excellent story by author John Heldt. I have been an avid fan of all of John's time travel novels and have enjoyed them all. I believe that Hanna's Moon is the best novel so far in this series. As always great believable characters with a plot that keeps you reading well past your bed time. Anxiously looking forward to the next in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh, So, Good! 21 May 2017

Wow, this book was a truly good read! I've read all the other Heldt Time Travel books and I was so engrossed-- I wasn't ready for it to end! I am also VERY SATISFIED with the storyline, the flow and the realism this books is brimming with. I personally feel an internal "completeness" and found some closure (I was missing) as a result of how you brought the characters in your books some closure. I also wondered (while reading other books in this series) if there was "more"? Now, I'm so totally excited at the prospect of even "MORE" American Journey! Thanks John and keep up the good work!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! 6 April 2017

Really like this author, Heldt, try to read all his books. He writes time travel, but
only goes back in this century, and they are not romance, which I like. They
are about people coping with the experience. Great book. Won't give any
of it away.
