Pros: Nice large capacity allows me to bake bread without the tops being burned by the top elements as our Kitchen Aid did. Reasonably priced. Cons: Slow to preheat. Poorly insulated & the exterior surfaces get excessively hot - hot enough to give one a burn with a brief touch. Markings Temp/Function/Timer are too small & hard to read.
We used our previous two toaster ovens extensively because they heated quickly & did not heat up the kitchen as the range oven did. However, this unit throws off heat excessively.
I really wanted to like this oven but time and time again it proved inadequate. It's biggest failure was the weakness of the upper element, with two strip elements (one right at the front of the oven and the other at its back) it just didn't produce enough heat to adequately broil or cook using the rotisserie. It could not even toast bread and the family complained that it took forever to melt cheese on bread (of necessity pretoasted in my old toaster) and that the nice browning that they like on the cheese just wasn't happening. So a complete waste of time at broiling. The rotisserie produced a 3 lb chicken (the instruction book gives a time of 2 hours for a 5lb one) still raw in the middle after the 2 hours. The chicken was the last straw and I returned it. Before this I tried the oven on a variety of dishes (mostly using the convection baking setting) and I had a mixture of burnt and undercooked results. The only real successes were 2 loaves of bread and a pizza cooked from scratch. With time I might have found the knack to timing and temperature for success - but I am left with a suspicion that the temperatures it produced were probably erratic. I cook, a lot, and my failures are unlikely to be due to inexperience. Disapponted.

I previously reviewed this oven and gave it a five star rating, now that I've had it for a while and used it quite often, the more I use it the more things I don't like about it, the convection function has developed a really loud rattling noise , the rotisserie function really doesn't brown anything and the exterior of the oven gets so hot you have to be very careful or you can easily get burned, which is how I'm now feeling about purchasing this product.
I am so overjoyed with this oven. So spacious, it has 2 racks & a easy to use rotisserie. The rotisserie does not splatter! I would recommend this to everyone.
