I haven’t cooked any of the recipes yet but they look very promising. My bf plays halo and he says that there are a lot of references to halo in the recipes so it definitely makes an amazing gift for a halo gamer!!

I made dinner from this book last night and it was fantastic! The Spadehorn Bits were AMAZING and I have never had meatballs like them. I wish it had some more veggies but I can easily modify it later.

I am making a week out of cooking only from this book and I can't wait to cook more from it.

Sure it may not have a ton Halo related to it. The flavor text is cool, some of the meals are Halo named. But Halo was never about food so I can forgive that.

But I also would not have any issue serving anything presented here to my parents or non gamer friends.

What truly amazes me is the variety of the options! She does not shy away from harder to get ingredients.
