Great game but don’t buy disc version
So I purchased the disc version as I like having physical media, so years later when you want to play the game you have a copy. Now the game itself is great! 343 have done an amazing job with this iteration of Halo. That’s good.What’s NOT good is that when you install the game from the disc and you’re offline, the actual game campaign is not entirely on the disc. The disc will only install about 15GB of data and once it finishes it tells you that the game isn’t playable until you update it. So of course you can update it and it’s all fixed…. for NOW. My concern is that the campaign itself is NOT entirely on the disc, so what exactly do you install if you can’t run it once it has finished?Think of this scenario - if years down the track you want to play Halo Infinite and servers are no longer available to download updates, you have an incomplete disc and no game. So I have no idea why Microsoft and 343 shipped this with no actual game to install…? 🤔🤔
