5.0 out of 5 stars Hairy Scary Spider 21 December 2012
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Hairy Scary Spider is a review I took (more like jumped on) because I know I am going to need a book like this to try to help my daughter NOT have her mothers crippling fear of spiders.

Hairy Scary spider is adorable. I can't help but laugh because what the spider says about people's reactions can not be more true. Especially, if you're me. (Let's just say until there is a world with out spiders, I can never live alone. Shh.)

Hairy scary spider is such a great little book. I love the colourful pages and the great little rhyming story. This is a book you and your child are going to want to read, again and again.

Trust me. It's great. Every time I read it, I can almost hear the little spider singing his story. Books like these are what make story time the best time of the day in my house.

5.0 out of 5 stars Book Review. 23 September 2012
By Stephen Zanzucchi - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Hairy, Scary Spider? What a wonderful children's ebook. Halloween is just around the corner and this book is perfect for the occasion. I read this story to my children, and they loved it. They interacted with the story by making scary faces, and even stopped me from smashing a couple spiders I found in my house. Not only is the ebook entertaining children, it is saving the lives of millions of spiders around the world (or at least in my house). I read this story to a 1st grade class and again, the student interaction/response was amazing. The illustrations are simple, sweet, and funny. Perfect for children. Students asked me if they could make spiders with paper plates and strips of construction paper. You know a book is good when students give you activity ideas to use the following day. Don't pass up this book. It is worth so much more than the pennies you spend on it.

My 4 year old is terrified of Spiders. He really enjoys this story. His favorite page is at the end when Spider invites you to take a closer look next time you see one. I will always keep this story handy for him!
