Product Description

Terrifying creatures exist all around us, hiding in plain sight. Ancient. Deadly. They gather in secret, conspiring, dreaming of nothing less than humanity’s destruction, and their numbers are growing.
Earl Preston knows the danger all too well. After tangling with a horde of mythological sea monsters in Colonial Bay, he has been tasked with finding these beasts and exposing their plans whatever they may be. But Earl is not the only one with a mystery on their hands. At the very top of the world, Carol Miyagi has stumbled onto an artifact from Earth’s past, something magnificent held captive in a prison of ice and snow. Now, Carol and Earl must work quickly to decipher the will of the gods–a plot that defies imagination–and to stop their followers from carrying it out.
They thought the nightmare was over, but they are about to discover that the horror has only just begun.

Hades Disciples is Book Two in the Legacy of the Gods Series.

5.0 out of 5 stars A book of yeti-like proportions! 14 July 2014

Have you ever read a book that left you thinking that the author must be in on some great universal secret? Have thoughts like this crossed your mind as you sat reeling from page after page of amazing description of things not of our everyday world that are written as if the author had actually seen them in person? They must have experienced the terror themselves. They had to have watched the horror unfold before their very eyes and somehow survived. Could there really be any other explanation for how a human being could envision such monstrosities and present them on the page with enough vivid description to make it all seem plausible that these things could really exist? In the case of Michael West and the creatures found within the pages of Hade’s Disciples, I hope for all our sakes that West is just that damn talented!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hades' Disciples Was Well Worth The Wait 21 May 2014

After reading Poseidon's Children, I was on pins and needles waiting for the release of Hades' Disciples, and oh yes, it was definitely worth the wait. Some of my favorite characters are back such as Earl Preston, Carol Miyagi, and the crazy criminal "Horror Show". But there are some new awesome characters as well, my favorites are the Goat-Man Gagan, the Wolf Lady Zuri, and the crazy dragon lady Ms. Song. The story was amazing and has many unexpected twists and turns that will absolutely drop your jaw. By the end of this book, my mouth was hanging open and I had a knot in my throat. I'd tell you why but it would give too much away so you'll have to read it for'll be glad you did!! The story ends with the stage set for the next saga in the series...Oh, I'm soo looking forward to Zeus' Warriors!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Michael West has done it again! :) 19 May 2014

Just when I thought I had read the best Michael West book ever, he writes a new one! This book was amazing! Michael West has a gift for writing that is second to none! I love the way this second book continues the series and the continuing development of his characters is phenomenal! I pre-ordered this book, so it was delivered to my Kindle as soon as it was available, and I could not put it down until I finished it that same day! I am now counting down the days until his next book is available, I can't wait to see where he takes these characters from here! Another great read from an awesome author!

Pretty good sequel

Hades Disciples is good but not as strong as the first in the series. It's well worth a read, though, with some interesting characters and good plot twists. I'm looking forward to number three in the series.
