Maybe I'm biased after forking out the $$$, but this phone is sleek. It's fast. Battery lasts easily 2 full days of normal use. Screen is beautiful. Camera is awesome. In-screen Fingerprint is easy, fast and reliable, even with a screen protector. Wireless charging is the only way. Works great with my Airpods...
Lookout Apple basically... Sorry Trump/America but China can make great stuff all on their own.
Just -1 star for the custom Huawei software in the way that is not always obvious how to disable or remove - Why manufacturers do this is beyond my comprehension...

This phone has a great camera, perfect size to work with just one hand, smooth and fluid response and still a good spec to have in 2020. This phone still has access to Google's services and receives regular updates.

My only complaint would be the Huawei bloatware that comes pre-installed with the phone. But I was able to easily remove them using the ADB tools software.

Its sad that Huawei phones of the future will be less viable due to not having access to Google's services because in my opinion they really nailed it with this one. I'd pick this anyday over any other Android smartphone in the same category from 2019.

I've long been one of Huawei's greatest fans. The camera is awesome. But I can't believe the stupidity of not offering the very aspect ratio (they astoundingly confuse it with 'resolution') that every needs. The aspect ratio of their video (and everyone else's) and the aspect ratio of virtually every television in the entire world today. The aspect ration of any good laptop or video monitor. HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN.
For this reason alone, I could not recommend Huawei's P30 Pro - if, and until, they provide an update that includes a super-hi-res 16:9 ratio option.

Disappointing. I had read good reviews of the camera in this phone, but apon using it found the front facing camera was terrible.

Out for focus and blown out.i wasn't overly impressed with the rear camera either.

Apparently this is known issue and others have commented on the variance in quality. Some hype on about the great cameras but others remark on how bad the front facing camera is.

Turns out it's a fixed focus camera and you have to hold it a full 50cm away.

This makes absolutely no sense beings selfie camera where you've got the relatively close to your face.

For me this was a deal breaker. Returned
