Fast Forward to 3 months of twice a week use. I am going out to Dick's Sporting Goods to buy a better quality swim suit as this particular one is now double the length (I am NOT exaggerating, I promise!). The top goes below my son's knees and the Pants even with the 4 inches that I folded, is 7-8 inches too long for my son! As you can imagine, all this stretching has happened at the expense of the thickness of the fabric, therefore, there are spots/patches where the fabric is almost non-existent - stretched so much that the color is gone and it is extremely thin.
I understand that it had been 3 months now, but when I spend upwards of $20 on a swim suit, and my son only wears it twice a week, I expect it to be worry free for a bit longer than 1 month. After the first month, we had been make doing with this until we had time to go to Dick's. I find that unacceptable!
I hope this review helps someone who was thinking about buying this. I wish someone had told me.
Edit: 2 years later and it still fits my slow growing child. Put it in the washer and dryer with no issues. The appliqués in the front are still new looking. Seams are still intact. Upgrading to five stars
