4.0 out of 5 stars TL:DR Scroll wheel suffers a few issues(tactility and wobble). Besides that, it is a perfect mouse.
By Joshua Moy on 25 October 2020
This is mouse is perfect, except for three minor flaws.

- The first flaw, which calling it a flaw might not even be suitable, is the scroll wheel bumps. The scrolling is very smooth and un-tactile compared to the mm710, g305, gpro wireless, or model O. The encoder(13mm black TTC) has very little tactility. I have, on my second Mira-S replaced the scroll encoder(13mm btw) with a green encoder from TTC, which is more tactile and stiff, which I've found to be a significant improvement to the original.

- The second flaw is the unusual scroll wheel wobble and noise. This has happened to both my Mira-S mice. The issue is that the scroll wheel has a lot of room to move side-to-side in the mouse enclosure, specifically between the two fork shaped bits of plastic which hold the scroll wheel in position. I fixed this issue by slightly bending the plastic closer towards each other, but this should not be done by beginners, as it could result in the piece of plastic snapping. With the wobbling fixed, the noise is also fixed, but this modification results in a stiffer middle-mouse-button(the stock middle-mouse-button was already on the stiff side).

- The third flaw is the weight (61 grams without the cable), with more and more sub-60-gram mice coming into the market, the Mira-S will surely face many competitors in the not so distant future. Mice like G-Wolves Hati S mini exist, which weigh significantly less (advertised at 48 grams), and the MM710 (at 53 grams). Although with its 61 grams of "heft", this mouse glides fast and smooth on the mousepad, and feels much more solid than some of its competitors.

I would definitely recommend you to buy this mouse. This mouse could have been an endgame for many people if it had better scroll wheel QC and was lighter by ten grams. The rest of the build quality is immaculate and excellent, well worth the price. I am excited to see how HK Gaming will grow in the future. Hopefully a Mira S 2 with all the issues addressed above fixed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost flawless! Could be an endgame for some.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 July 2020
My review-

I received this mouse and straight out of the box I was in complete aw, it looked very much like eye candy. The photo doesn't do it justice, when i picked it up the coating of the mouse felt very good in my hand, however it did have a distinct smell to it- it's hard to pin point it but it smelt a little like rubber.

I tested how sturdy it was, there was no flex and no creaking. The cable isn't as good as something like the endgame XM1, but it still sufficient and barely/not noticeable when flicking and tracking. The mouse is very aesthetically pleasing and felt very good in my 19.5 x 10.5 hands with a claw grip/fingertip grip hybrid.

The clicks on this mouse feel crisp and light, there’s not really any unnecessary sound when clicking fast or hard, no creaking or hollowness and minimal pre/post travel. Side buttons have barely any pre travel or post travel and the side buttons don’t sound amazing but don’t sound bad, they sound average.

The thing is basically flawless! Except from one small but big part, the scroll wheel. Ultimately, this is the reason i returned it. When flicking i could feel the scroll wheel movement and even when just moving the mouse fast i could feel it. I could definitely hear it without headphones on. When i shook the mouse, it was probably the loudest rattle I have heard in a mouse. However, after doing some research, this was a problem on the newer batches of Mira-S and some people have said they don't have it on theirs. So it seems to me a hit or miss fault, I was probably just unlucky.

The feet on this mouse aren’t the best stock feet out there, however they’re still sufficient for most people and do glide well, but not as well as tiger arcs or hyper glides

Down to the specs- it has a 3360 sensor with very good performance, it has no LOD issues or spin out issues it’s a top tier sensor.

Overall-
Top notch sensor
Great shape
Great weight
Great overall build quality
Great mouse glide for the avg person, however I know many people will want to put hyperglides, tiger arcs or corepadz on this mouse.
Great LMB and RMB clicks, great side button clicks
But the one flaw i found-
Loose scroll wheel

Can i recommend it? Yes and no, if you get one without the poor scroll wheel, then this mouse is definitely a keeper as it all felt very good apart from that one thing, if you do get a scroll wheel issue then you need to decide whether it's bearable or not, however in my case I couldn't bear it as it was distracting.
This would be a 5 star mouse if it weren't for the scroll wheel issues
