The price on this kit can't be beat! Why take your blower to the shop when you can just bolt this on. My blower cranked right up after I got everything together. I don't think my blower revs as high, but should be an easy adjustment or hardly noticeable just left alone.

This kit did have two problems. First, only one of the fuel filters fit on my BR550. Second, one of the brass fuel lines on the carburetor didn't have enough bend in it causing the carb not to fit. I had to put the carb in the vise and use a small deep well socket and extension to bend it to fit. Additionally, the choke knob is slightly different and sticks out a little further, but its no big deal.

I work on lots of Stihl equipment, blowers, saws, trimmers, ect. Was a bit hesitant to buy a carburetor that was most likely made in China, but when I pulled the old one off, gee "China" on the top of it... Go figure. Lol. Bolted right up, no fitting problems. Hit the primer a few times and my br 550 fired right up. Didn't have to adjust it ( I did though, just to get a bit more power at full throttle). Considering a new carb from a Stihl dealer was around $60 and I got this one for right around $20, I am very happy. Even came with an air filter, 2 fuel filters and a spark plug. Those will definitely come in handy.

I liked the price but not the product. Would not ever prime on my stihl Br550 blower, even had the man that sold it to me look at it. We scratched our heads and put the original back on and it worked ok, prime/purge wise. Still needs kitted which is what I now see that I should've done in the first place. I ordered 2 of these and both are faulty and BTW your throttle linkage will not fit in the slot on these carbs either without modification. I sure wished they had worked as its alot easier to swap out rather than rebuild.

Runs great now! Bought the carb instead od sxrewing with my old one and nkw my blower (br600) is baxk up and running better than ever. Make sure u get a mental picture of how the cords are set up behind the air filter holder what you take it off. I wasnt sure how to ut it back together so it took me a little longer. Bout 30 min to do it all. Great deal on all of these highly recommend!

Carb/Air Filter/Spark Plug work great! One fuel pickup incorrect.

I bought three of these and all of the parts were a direct replacement except for one of the fuel pickups. My Stihl BR600's have dual fuel pickups so one of them needs to be able to have a double line coming out of it for replacement. So all in all it was great, I just had to reuse one old part that I thought this would replace. Carb/Air Filter/Spark Plug work great!
