excellent! My one disappointment was when I reached 75% mark and knew what limited time I had left.

A great read, from beginning to end.
Personally I prefer his Fighting sail series of characters, I found Nat and Alex a tad tiresome at times, and the way in which the story finally returned Nat's father to the plot was a little unconvincing, hence only 4 star for this novel from a 5 star author.
