About the Author
Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She's also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she's ever had. She loves hearing from her readers at email@example.com.--This text refers to the mp3_cd edition.

We are into the second part of the angst between Whitney and Lincoln. Normally reading about the hurdles of relationship or old tension can be boring but there is nothing boring about this story. The outside influences are still there that really created the backbone of this story. I really enjoy nasty characters in books because they also create the emotion for a good read. Never before have I wanted to physically hurt characters in a book until now! Hahahaha
You will love the Twist and turns this book takes and the 23rd of October will not come quick enough for book 3's release!
As I've said in reviews before for Meghan, keep doing what you're doing because you do it so freaking well!!!!
Nice to see Whitney starting to grow in confidence in this book. She has some amazing family support with her aunt and cousin Cricket, but her other cousin.......Aargh - she is so painful. I'm dying to find out why she is so horrible to everyone, and what the go is with her kids Dad.
The interactions between the 2 old guys are hilarious - Commodore and Magnus. 2 stubborn old men who seem to enjoy annoying the hell out of each other. Lots of drama plus a side of occasional humour made this another great read.
I also love the fact that it jumps between the present and the past as it paints a fuller picture, which I certainly enjoy:)
Third book here i come to find out the outcome.

Time and time again, throughout, this eloquently written book we are presented with reasons for and against Whitney and Lincoln being together. The feud between the Riscoff's and the Gable's, long held secrets and the traitorous opinions of some close family members makes any relationship almost impossible. But as they love each other, the power to change their situation exists within them.
Whitney begins to be more positive about her feelings and talent. Lincoln asserts himself because if he is to win Whitney's trust, he will needs to find ways to see her and show his love.
It seems as though too many people have a vested interest in keeping Whitney and Lincoln apart. Meeting opposition and hostility at every turn, Whitney wonders if it’s really all worth it. Lincoln is determined that he won’t lose her again and changes his behaviour in order to woo her.
Just when you think ‘they’re adults, let them live their lives’ another bombshell drops at the end of the book which has me reeling. I cannot wait to read the conclusion to this series, so that I can unravel all of the secrets that the characters are keeping. I really can’t begin to guess where this will all end up.
On to the last book!
