Let me say I've owned the wallet for about two weeks now and here are my thoughts/feelings.
Quality of the leather is very good. It's not too thick, as it would make the wallet bulky, and it's not too thin as to make it feel cheap and flimsy. It seems to be wearing in well, no creases, and not too stiff. Also, the stitching is tight and uniform. This combined with the quality of leather makes me think it will handle aging and abuse fairly well.
I really enjoyed having a billfold wallet with two sections for bills and was pleased when I found this one had such a bill compartment. Often the separator is of low plastic or nylon quality. The one in this wallet seems fairly durable as with everything else. I wish they would have managed to squeeze another slot for cards but that's a minor issue. I pitched the plastic photo holder as it simply adds to the thickness of the wallet and I never use it. I also like that it has a dual removable I.D. holder that allows me to have my driver's license and a second form of ID handy without having to dig around for my second ID.
I am very happy with this wallet, I would have easily paid twice what I got it for and would recommend it for anybody who is looking for a fairly slim, high quality billfold.
I am very happy with it. At first, everything is EXTREMELY tight. Credit card, pictures, driver's license, and everything else had to be squeezed into the rightful compartments. I read many other reviews on here about the product that also made this complaint. As I had thought though (like any new wallet) you have to wear it in a little first.
The first night, I loaded my wallet with cards and stuff, put a couple pencils in the corner fold of the wallet sticking up vertically, and then rubber-banded the wallet VERY tightly closed. The next day, I woke-up, checked it out, and did it again. Within two days of doing this the wallet is adequately stretched out and perfect.
1. Multiple slots for card
2. A separate, removable, and clear-plastic section for pictures, Driver's License, etc.
3. Well-stitched and has a real sleek look to it.
The clear-plastic, removable section for pictures, DL, etc. seems pretty cheap. Over time, the plastic sections will tear and become useless. Although, the good thing is that it is a removable section so that when it does (a couple years from now) you can just throw it away and still have a functional wallet.
I like it. I very rarely have good luck with rather inexpensive things. So far, I am very happy.
I kept coming back to this wallet by Guess and I'm sure glad I chose it. The leather is simply gorgeous, it's full natural grain with a light ground and it's wonderfully tanned to a buttery soft, matte finish. The design stands apart with it's multiple holes along the spine and contrasting stitching.
The look is contemporary and clean.
The feel and scent of the leather is exquisite and the lining is equally well done. There's plenty of room for your ID, a few Credit Cards, Miscellaneous cards and a bit of cash. Which is basically all most anyone ever needs to carry. If you like a wallet that ends u as thick as a phone book - I can assure you this one isn't for you.
However, if you want something that's first rate quality, slim and stylish without looking trendy you won't find a nice wallet than this Passcase from Guess and that would be at any price.
The wallet comes in a Guess presentation box (great for gift giving) and a white outside box. Plus if you're a Prime member you get Free two day shipping to boot.
Making this exceptional deal, on a gorgeous wallet that much sweeter.
