Product Description

As Wrath—one of the seven Nephilim—Maximillion can never return to the life he once had. Following the failed battle with Abbadon and his demons, the death of a loved one, and the betrayal of the person he trusted most, Max is forced to go into hiding. Before doing so, he must devise a plan to look for answers and search for the other Nephilim.
Max and his best friend/guardian angel, Jones, are on the run for a month before the first clue leads them to Sin City, Las Vegas, to find the Nephilim of Greed, Nikolai. The combination of Nikolai’s reluctance to help and fear of an unknown force leaves Max full of more questions than answers.
Will Max discover who is hunting the Nephilim? And if he does, can he overcome the forces of evil against them?
In the sequel to Sins of the Fallen, Karina Espinosa pulls readers back to the saga unfolding in the world of angels and demons—a world in which everything begins to fall apart.

This book picks up where Sins of the Fallen leaves off and you are in for a ride. Poor Max his whole world has gone wackadoodle haywire. He loses his mom, is angry all the time and can't control it, feels his dad abandoned him, feels guilt and is trying to figure out his new world. All the while on the run and trying to stay safe.

Jones is a awesome friend always being there and worrying. Max feels bad about this too. Feels he is a burden on him. Max is a good guy just has so much to adjust to and his emotions are everywhere.

Angela is a issue that Max must deal with. His feelings need to be recognized and as Max grows and sees things more clearly he comes to terms with the chemistry and love he has for her. Nicolai helps there.

Nicolai is my favorite with his snark and how he tries so hard not to like Max and ends up loving him and wanting to protect him no matter what. And what Jeremiel went through. That poor angel. As Max comes to terms with who he is new revelations are made and questions arise. Also Max now must deal with a mistake that ended in tragedy and the residual guilt this brings about. The ending though wowza.

You will feel for Max and all he is going through as he grows into who he is and grows up. Help comes in unexpected packages for Max in this book and seeing Max the love and forgive Angela is beautiful. a great book that will have you clamoring for the next in the series as you wonder how much more MAx can take and if his fire will stay blue

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition! 8 August 2014

I received this book from the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.
Greed is book two in Sins of The Fallen Series.
Maximillion isn't normal, he's a one of the seven Nephilim. He is Wrath. His father is a fallen angel and his mother is now dead. She was killed by Abbadon, Angela's father. Filled with guilt, anger, sorrow and pain Max and his guardian/best friend Jones go on the run. While roaming around the US, Jones and Max come up with a plan to find the other Nephilim. They find a possible location for another Nephilim Greed. Going to Las Vegas they find more then they bargain for. More secrets are revealed and more questions are answered but those only lead to further troubling questions. In a world where angels and demons play, and everything isn't what he thought, Max must struggle to learn more about himself and who is really the enemy and who is friend.

Fantastic! The next installment not only ups the stakes but ups the story. The story concept just keeps getting better and better. I love the mythology and world that the author created. The idea that the Nephilim are the seven sins is unique and interesting. There are so many different twists and turns I never know what to expect as I turn the page. I wasn't disappointed. In fact I had trouble putting the book down for a second. Karina does an excellent job of grabbing your attention and keeping it. I am dying to know what happens in the next book. Having to wait is killing me!
I love how the characters grow especially Max. We get to see him grow up and become more of an adult. His father still bugs me with the way he treats Max at times. Jones has Max's back and their friendship grows stronger. Angela is dealing with some emotional issues when she faced her father. Her tough interior cracks a little and we see a softer side to her. There is the addition of Niko who is the Nephilim of Greed. His character is refreshing and fun. With the glimpse of the past we are given we find there is more to him then just a playboy gambler.
The story picks up in pace and we see the characters facing tougher challenges and enemies. The toughest challenge maybe themselves.
Fans of YA angel and demon stories will love this novel.
I rate this 5 fangs.
5.0 out of 5 stars I totally loved it! this book was amazing! 3 October 2014

*This Book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review*

I totally loved it! this book was amazing! Karina Espinosa knows how to keep her audience entertained. In this second book of the Sins of the Fallen series there was so much to love just like the first. I couldn't put the book down, I was captivated by Max's journey and totally left hanging by the cliff hanger ending! I can't wait to see what happens next!

In the first book it was all about meeting Max and him learning about who he was, in this one Max sets out on a journey to not only hide from the enemy but to find others like himself, other nephilim, what he find is the nephilim of Greed. Karina Espinosa tells this story with such creative and imaginative way. The characters are one of the best parts of the story as I find they are so complex and I never know what she is going to do with them next. Max starts off as such a shy normal high school boy and now in this one he is anything but, having his life thrown into chaos has changed him in such ways that in a short period of time he has become a whole new person. Greed is also such a complex character and you never quite know weather to fully trust him or not as sometimes he wants to help and then other times he only thinks about himself.

The villain Abbadon was defiantly badass in this one. I liked him in the first one but he wasn't as creepy as he got to be in this one. Him and his even more creepy sidekicks made him all the more badass in this one and I think it gave the book an extra twist.

I liked meeting Georgia in this one and was bummed that we didn't get to know more about her, she really intrigued me and I can't wait for the next book and I hope that we learn more about her there. I loved the ending as well it totally rocked! I can't wait till it continues in the next book as I can't wait to see what they all

I highly recommend this series! Karina Espinosa is a superb author who's creative genius keeps you on the edge of your seat begging for more. Make sure to get your copies today!

5.0 out of 5 stars Suspense and uncertainty around every corner 28 August 2014
By Anna (Enchanted by YA) - Published on

***I received the eBook free as a review copy from the author in exchange for an honest review***

As you can tell from the 5 stars I gave this book, I loved it. Simple as that. Just like the first it is filled with action and a fair share of mystery as Max faces even more problems. He knows what he is, but not the full extent of what it means so he’s still on this road of self-discovery, but this time he has a very different attitude… He says himself that the old Max is gone; this new Max however is still brilliant. He’s fearless and it means he takes the plot in directions I never expected. There’s suspense and uncertainty around every corner.

I know the plot is probably the most important aspect for a good book and I think I’ve already established it is amazing, which leaves the characters. Now, the first book ended on a cliff-hanger that to be honest had me ready to chuck the book out the window; I was fuming! Not at the book which was great, not even the author, but one specific character. Angela.

She is one mighty piece of work and after what she did there’s no forgiveness. Never mind the way she acted afterwards when their paths finally crossed again, she must have felt some guilt! No matter her reasons/excuses for what happened, an apology is the least she could do. You could argue that why I feel like this because after reading the book from Max’s perspective I’m prejudiced, but in reality, I came up with this conclusion all on my own. Angela deserves nothing more than to be burnt to a crisp slowly and painfully (I’m sounding like a psychopath now, but bear with me) the only doubt I have is that if Max killed her he wouldn’t be able to live with himself after. You can do a lot of things in the moment that you come to regret, and for something as big as killing the girl you loved it needs a little more sensible thinking.

Aside from Angela, we welcome back Jones. He’s grown on me considerably particularly when he picked Max’s side, but he’s overshadowed by the new introduction of Greed. Greed aka Nikolai gives Max a run for his money. He’s sarcastic and funny, but you can see there’s more to him than meets the eye. After living for thousands of years he has a fair few stories to tell, so it’s great to see some from his perspective. Actually, it was great seeing anything from his perspective.

With the arrival of these new characters as well as the return of the ones we already love (and/or hate) this sequel was one hell of a ride. A great continuation of the story, that I can’t wait to see conclude.
