I'm 5'5", athletic build, and the shirt fits VERY LOOSE. Like wow. Goodthreads manufacturer probably targets a general husky audience for their clothing line which is fine but don't call this a "slim-fit". It's not slim-fit, not at all.
The medium is WAY too big. The material is comfortable though and the arms are actually perfect compared to the small which is way too tight in the arms.
The small is a very good fit. But a good 1-2 inches too long to actually wear untucked for a shorter person. It would probably be perfect for anyone over 5'10".
These pictures are of the medium size. The small is about 1-2 inches shorter. Which is still too long to wear untucked.
... not with this shirt. I went with a Medium. Slim fit is exactly that. Slim. Sleeve length is superb (35/36"). Collar is comfortable when buttoned up all the way (16.5" neck). Does not billow out when tucked in.
My only con is that the shirt is not terribly long so it might not be suitable tucking in for some.
