Product Description

Private investigator, Lexi Graves is on cloud nine. After getting engaged to her boyfriend-slash-boss, Solomon, along with her old job back, now, her best friend is about to give birth to her first baby. Nothing could make life better for Lexi... but a blast from her past could make everything a whole lot worse.

Anthony Simon Steadman isn't a man Lexi ever thought she'd run into again. For a start, he's her ex-fiancé. Their shock break-up left her with some crazy life decisions to live down. So when he shows up, pleading for her help, she's not sure she's ready to forgive and forget. Does she really want to risk getting involved in her ex's shady doings when her own life is going so well? But after he insists someone is out to kill him, and his body disappears from a bloody crime scene, the stakes are raised. Lexi has no other choice but to find out who wanted her ex dead... besides her.

Lexi tries to solve the jerk's murder, while unwillingly competing in a contest with her boastful sister to throw the perfect engagement party. She also has to remain available twenty-four/seven to take Lily to the hospital at a moment's notice. Lexi’s plate is full, and the road to the aisle has never looked so long.

Lexie is back and better than ever. It was so good reading another wonderful Lexie story, she is engaged to Solomon and they are living together yay, Lexie has also gone back to work for Solomon which I love as they work well together and Lexie's character grew in different and interesting ways in this book that made the story more interesting.
As a side Competitive Selena is back and i really don't like her it would be nice if she could be nice to her sister.
Lily is about to pop which is great and I love her little pregnancy brain freak out lol.
The ending was surprising and to be honest I'm not sure how I feel about it I love Lexie and Solomon but relationships based on lies never last ....... That's all Im gonna say

This is a good well written book. The characters keep on developing as the book progress. I love the quirky mother and best friend, and would love Solomon for my own! Looking forward to the next book.

I have enjoyed all of the Lexi Graves books. This one did not disappoint. It was not as involved as the others but I am still looking forward to the next one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesomely wonderful! 16 September 2016

Love it, loved it, loved it! I adore the Lexi Grave series for so many reasons and A Few Good Woman is a prime example of why so many people love the series. The characters are wonderful and dynamic; I love to see great characters show growth and change, not that Solomon needs any changes, but for him we see a side that is no surprise but it is one that we have only speculated about before. Lexi grows in skills and maturity level and yet maintains that wonderful heart and humor that captivated us from the beginning. Their lives have changed so much from when she was a little lost and working as a temp; now she is moving into a permanent relationship with confidence in her job skills.
BUT even Lexi is not prepared for the re-entry of the jerk of an ex-fiance whose cheating sent her into a tailspin and into the army. It seems he has a special talent for destroying women's lives although this time it is from a different perspective. The question becomes has a woman destroyed his live? Read that as ended.
Camilla Chafer pulls us into their wonderful world and makes these awesome characters seem so real that we root for them with all our might.
5.0 out of 5 stars FUN! 22 November 2016

Another fun book in the Lexi Graves series. While dealing with her best friend and sister-in-law's baby's imminent birth, Lexi's case load at work heats up. Her ex-fiance from a decade ago is back in town and in trouble. His mother and sisters try to hire Lexie to "fix" his problems, but after a resounding NO, she moves on to the case she regarding unauthorized use of high end houses that a realty company have been trying to sell. When the two cases collide, Lexie is more or less stuck in the middle. Along with that, Lexi's life wouldn't be normal without the constant family members who interfere with her life...3 of those being police officers who are officially trying to solve the murder of the missing ex. Lexi and Solomon are planning their engagement party, Lilly is convinced Jordan is cheating on her and wants Lexi to find out, the ex is believed to be killed, and his wife and two girlfriends keep bombarding Lexi to find missing money and the missing ex.

Phew! Never a dull moment in this series! Maddox is back in this book, and of course the competition is still on between Lexi and her sister to have the best engagement party. The chaotic atmosphere is full of mystery and fun-a perfect recipe for another great installment in Lexi's life. You definitely need to read this series in order! You'll be glad you did!
5.0 out of 5 stars Lexi is the best! 18 September 2016

After so many books, most get boring but not this series! Lexi is always up to something or dragged into trouble and it's always fun. Along with her mom and Lily, things get hilarious and out of control but this book had less of them and more of Lexi on her own which I enjoyed. Things are heading along wither her and Solomon and Maddox is back and I liked their friendship. I'm always ready for more!
4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable 7 April 2017

This book was much better than the last, I figured out some parts of what really happened early on, but not everyone that was involved. New characters popped up, and you had to figure out which role they were really playing in the story, so that kept things interesting. I would recommend reading it.

Love this series! Lexi is amazing. When her life gets crazy she doesn't stress, she fixes all of it with Solomon by her side.
Every book you see the characters grow. You can relate with them. I would recommend reading books in order so you know what the characters have been through.
