A roller-coaster read. Lively believable characters and good mystery set in the world of retro caravans and trailers. Loved the fact that Georgie's great-grandmother Rosa and 74 year old Miss Molly were the main characters in this, the 8th of the Georgie B. Goode series. After you read Good Golly Miss Molly you'll want to head straight to book 1 and continue reading until you hit book 10.
This whole series has been a joy to read. I like to keep these for "on the go" reading because they are easy to pick up for a few pages of good reading (though a few have been cover to cover reads!). Because the main characters are well developed ... their reaction to certain plot twists or encounters are not predictable but expected based on their personalities. This helps the reader to be invested in the story. I have much in common with Georgie (gypsy heritage and the love of vintage campers) so these are perfect for me. I've already shared my opinion with my other "Glamper" (glamour campers) friends and their reasonable price pretty much assures a first book sale. The quality of the writing ensures reader's desire to purchase the series!
This book was fabulous! The story line was funny and easy to relate to my dreams. The cast of characters was varied in age, colorfully dressed, loyal, and lovable for all to enjoy now and to look forward to reading more soon.
Georgie, Tammy, Rosa, a mystery, vintage trailer rally and music, what's not to love? I loved the tandem fortune telling and it was nice to find out some background on Tammy. Another fAbulous entry in the Georgie B. Goode series!
Miss Molly is a fun, active 72 year old lady. Her trusting heart caused her to lose a lot of money to unscrupulous scammers. This story is about her friends figuring out who and how, and getting her money back
