I love the idea behind this book. Natural food and natural skincare. A very holistic approach for overall wellness inside and out. I only eat vegan/plant based so I’m always looking for a new cookbook to add to my rotation.
I don’t think the recipes were tested enough for measurement and texture consistency. I have made 2 recipes thus far and followed both to a “t”. Neither one came together as instructed. I had to wing it and add a couple tbs of maple syrup to the mango macaroons so they would stick together. Next, I tried the lasagna. It was an extremely arduous recipe (with very $$ ingredients like Brazil nuts). Not worth the time and money to come out looking and tasting like watery soup! I’m not a chef but I can follow a recipe.
In general; I find if one or two recipes in a cookbook are great...the rest are great too. Sadly this one is the opposite. I also found it strange that the body & hair “recipes” are mixed in with the food. Wouldn’t it make more sense to put that in a separate chapter?
