Product Description

He plays the guitar very well. Those fingers are very flexible. I know something else they could play with...

Stone Slayer. Bad boy rockstar.

Loose cannon with a hot body. Those eyes. That face. That body. That voice.

I mean, he takes his shirt off on stage and millions of women watching all around the world drop their panties...

So what happens when this rock god becomes the subject of my next interview?

Do I handle myself in a professional manner and ask him those hard hitting questions that do justice to my journalism degree?

Uhmm, that's exactly what I do - in Imaginary Land!

No, ten minutes with this rock & roll icon and he and I are making sweet, sweet music together. But what happens when the record stops? When the last track is played?

Is he taking me platinum?

Or am I just a one hit wonder?

*** It's the cute single girl versus the Big Bad Guitar Hero in this installment from Mona Cox. Guaranteed to be sweet, sassy, and fun. No cheating or cliffhangers. Happy Ending? Always, babe ***

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review and I will also be purchasing a copy of this book.
A hot sizzling romance between Gisele a reporter who is sent to do an interview and Stone a rockstar who has a secret.
A definite page turner with plenty of hot and steamy scenes especially in the bathroom.
There is a little twist / secret to the story but I will leave that for you to find out about.
A great read once again by Mona Cox,ENJOY!!!!!

I loved this book. It was quirky with a plot you could not imagine and all wrapped up in a hunky piece of manhood. Another winner from Mona Cox which will keep you turning the pages.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gisele vs Guitar Hero 19 April 2017
By Christine Jalili - Published on

I absolutely loved this book. As usual style of Mona Cox, I was laughing one moment and totally turned on by the sex scenes the next moment. Gisele Taylor is shocked by the video she's watching of Stone Slayer, and oh yes, she's to interview him. Interesting way to invite her to his room - it's really HOT but surprising about how it all came to be. Will he remember? What happens when they meet up again? Did he take his pills? Oh yes, it's gets really hot but does Gisele betray his trust? You'll have to buy this book. I love how the name Ashlo was created but not too sure I like the name Gisone, but it made me laugh. Love getting updated on previous friends in the epilogue. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read the next MonaCox book.

5.0 out of 5 stars HOT!! 19 April 2017

Another great read from Mona Cox. Gisele vs. Guitar Hero is the story of Gisele and Stone. Stone is the rock star who is trying to kick drugs and alcohol. He is taking an experimental drug to help with trying to kick his nasty habits but the drug itself has some bad side effects that cause him to do things and not remember what happened. Gisele is a reporter sent to interview him after one of these such incidents. There is a connection between them when they first meet. Stone takes her to his suite and explains about the drug. She doesn't believe him so he takes the drug to show her. You will need to read the book to see what happens between them. This is another hot read from Mona Cox. I definitely recommend this book.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Mona Cox book! 23 April 2017

Gisele works as a journalist for Blush magazine. She has been sent on an interview with Stone Slayer a Guitar Hero. The night before Stone was in concert and he took out his huge schlong on stage and waved it around. Stone has no memory of doing this. When Gisele comes to interview Stone, she knew he was hot, but he is HOT. Stone was immediately taken by Gisele. He has an idea. He takes her to his hotel room, and decides to show her his secret. He is an addict and he has a hard time quitting. He takes an experimental pill that keeps him from wanting to drink and do drugs. But the problem is he can't remember what he does when he is on the pill. Stone wants to show Gisele what happens. He usually acts out what he is thinking before the pill takes effect. He is staring at Gisele's breasts. What will happen while Stone is under the medication? Will Gisele stick around? Will Gisele write her article?

2.0 out of 5 stars No, Just No... 21 April 2017
By Andrea Grabowski - Published on

I really hate criticizing a book, but I'm not entirely sure how this has so many raving reviews. The heroine, Gisele, full on date rapes the hero, Stone. Twice. Granted, he wasn't upset about it when he found out, but that doesn't negate the fact that she did it. And I don't like her for it. It was kind of disturbing and I had a hard time getting past the fact that absolutely none of the characters acknowledged this for what it was.
Moving past that (if you can), Gisele and Stone are head over heels in love with each other, even though they met for maybe - MAYBE - all of half an hour before she took advantage of him. Oh, and then they went on one date, which ended surprisingly well considering that this was right after he'd confirmed his suspicions that she'd knowingly had sex with him while he was severely impaired. Throughout the whole book, there isn't a single reason for a connection for these two aside from insta-love. Half of their interactions he doesn't even remember.
And the big "betrayal" may have seemed like a bigger deal to me if I'd not already felt that she'd completely betrayed his trust. What did he expect??? She's a selfish idiot! He told this woman that when he takes his prescription, he blacks out... And not five minutes later, he blacks out and she decides it's a good idea to hop in the sack with him. Hell, she knew that these pills had already made him tarnish his public image and that he was in a lot of hot water for it...and she decided to go at it with him in a public bathroom! She's self-absorbed and has no morals whatsoever.
Clearly, I just can't get past the date rape thing.
Also, the writing was... Confusing. Multiple times, I read sentences over and over again and I still couldn't make sense of them. This mainly occurred with Gisele's internal dialogue. Maybe that girl's thoughts are just beyond scrambled?? Either way, it was distracting.
Overall, I didn't find this book particularly funny, I couldn't understand the connection between the characters and quite honestly, I never came around to liking the Gisele. Stone was a good guy and deserved someone WAY better than her! I stopped reading after finishing the first story. I just couldn't...
