On the back of reading this book I have downloaded the Jack Stratton searies and hope to enjoy a new (for me) author.
Initially the character of Faith was quite irritating but as the story developed she became more plausible and believable. The plot was sometimes predictable, the name of one phsychopath a big giveaway but on the whole an enjoyable read.

"Christopher Greyson has created a thriller on par with The Girl on the Train, only with more suspects, more danger, and more agony for the young heroine." -- Killer Nashville
"The plot turns come fast and furious... Sharp characters enmeshed in a mystery that, particularly in its final lap, is a gleefully dizzy ride." -- Kirkus Reviews
"Greyson is a master of weaving suspense and keeping the reader guessing..." -- NetGalley Review

Not that impressed with this book. Hardly a thriller, just a girl scrambling around in a drunken haze. It just got a bit repetitive mess and became a frustrating read.

Characters well written, builds suspense, unpredictable, interesting take on dealing with trauma. Almost believable, gets very convoluted but can follow.

Modern thriller with many scens and ever changing suspicious list which keeps growing and that makes the story interesting to read. Plot was well thought before written. Worth the read.

I gave up on this book after reading only 52% on my Kindle. With over 500 books on my Kindle Fire, I feel I am a very good judge of talent as regards authors and this author has a long way to go to achieve even 2 stars. Yet, "The Girl Who Lived" is highly rated which further convinces me that reviewers out there must be getting compensated to submit such high praise for one that I could not bring myself to finish...It is just that bad..
I love good books as others out there do, as well. It is a shame we are subject to false reviews and enticed to spend out time and money on such worthless reads.

Too stupid for words. A prime character who is totally objectionable. Brash, rude and dumber than a tree stump. A plot so ridiculous it’s embarrassing. Trust this person. No, trust this person. No, trust your mother, no, hate your mother., she’s a killer. Your fathers a killer. No he’s a victim. Gag me. Don’t dare bother with the rest of this series.

It isn't a bad book but I found it boring. Usually I can't wait to finish a book I'm reading but this story didn't grab me and it was my last choice of entertainment. I also found that the ending didn't really ring true. Obviously I can't tell you why. There were plenty of red herrings to lead you away from the final denouement and that was well done, not too heavy handed like some authors and that kept me on my toes but still not enough to make the book exciting. So, not for me but while 99p (11/11/17 ) it is worth a punt. You may enjoy it. ☺

Not worth the investment of time.

Mystery stories with twists are the way it should be. But there are too many twists in this one. The who-done-it was contrived and totally unbelievable. You have to suspend your disbelief to enjoy some stories. But this one went way beyond that. I want a mystery I could solve through the hints along the way. Not have the most unrealistic person do it for the most ridiculoud reason.

This was a good read with a host a great characters and a plot that kept you guessing....however there were some plot failures, particularly at the end that didn't really deliver.
