That aside, Gigabyte has been a solid performer and a favorite of mine. I built a new machine with a Ryzen 5 2600x AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler - YD260XBCAFBOX and mounted everything up on a X470 mobo GIGABYTE X470 AORUS GAMING 5 WIFI (AMD Ryzen AM4/ X470/ USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type A, Type C/ ATX/ DDR4/ Intel Wave 2 WIFI/ M.2/ HDMI/ Motherboard).
Primarily, I do light Photoshop and Illustrator work while also streaming video and/or audio, while also having web browsers open. I may game from time to time, so this 3GB model 1060 looked to be solid enough for what I needed. While doing all of the above, I could barely get this card warm enough to fire up the two fans! Video optimizing with the Nvidia utilities are simple and I like the extra monitoring I can do with those engines installed. This card is 4K and VR ready and it can really handle anything I can throw at it.
