Unfortunately this story line is exactly the same as the other 3 books no surprises here Marie cones across a dead body and she goes about clearing her name it becomes a very boring read and predictable. This series had great potential to be really good if it touched more on the paranormal side of things rather than a very simplistic murder read. I’m not reading any more in this series it will be the same thing Marie being the first to find a dead body and having to clear her name. It lacks imagination and Marie who is supposed to be 40 years old acts like some one who is in there late 20tys.

You write of such beautiful scenery, set the pace for such a lovely romance, with mysterious ghost stories and then these horrible tacky predictable murders, home detective cases from Marie come, she's in the wrong place. 4 books, exactly the same. The grammatical errors are painful but I just keep waiting for more, there's such promise for a 5 star story.

Once again, the typos and errors distract from a fairly good story. It seems like these books are being written in a hurry, and the author is more concerned with churning out books than with quality. I wish for some quality control to improve this series.

This book kinda dragged here & there & I found myself skimming it in some parts. It also gets a little old that Marie is constantly a suspect (even in the looses sense). But overall it was a decent read or if nothing else an all right way to waste a day & ½.
