Un texto completo para estudiantes y algo más
Reviewed in Spain on 27 March 2018Verified Purchase

Too detailed for quick reference in a clinical setting.

This is a great reference if you want extremely detailed information and great color photos. But, I find in clinical practice that I want a 'quick reference'. If I want to brush up on life cycles or proper medications for treating parasites I think "Veterinary Parasitology" by William Foreyt is a better reference. The one drawback is that the photos are in black and white. But, I don't care about that. The outline format of Foreyt's book is perfect for quick info on the run in a busy veterinary clinic.

The best book to learn about parasitology
Reviewed in the United States on 23 December 2016Verified Purchase
This book is a must have if you want information in depth about what is a parasite how it's life begins, how it reproduces, how it can be controlled, and if you are like me and wants to self learn about livestock parasites. This book has everything that you need to understand what your veterinarian is trying to teach you about parasites.

The book was in great condition!

I wanted to get this book for a long time but it was so expensive so I decided to get it used. I did not regret the decision. The book is like new except for some highlighting. I am so happy that I finally got the book for a moderate price. Thank you!
