As a teacher and mythologist, Michael Meade is genius let out of the bottle. He is strong medicine for hard times, an elixir of amazing stories, rich ideas, and brilliant seeds of wisdom for remaking the world. --Jack Kornfield

Michael Meade is magic. Unlike anyone else one is likely to encounter, Michael Meade is one of the greatest living teachers of our time. There is brilliant medicine in this book. --Alice Walker

Michael Meade helps us understand the truths and teachings of our ancient myths and applies them to a world in turmoil and deepening crisis. The tale he weaves of human imagination and genius re-establishes the regenerative power of both nature and culture --Luis Rodriguez
