5.0 out of 5 stars How to store the propane hose.
Reviewed in the United States on 3 October 2017
As far as the overall working of the stove goes it is fine. A little cheaper made than ones costing twice as much but gets the job done though I didn't try it using butane.
One drawback is that the instructions say the propane hose can be folded and stored inside the butane holder cavity. I don't think so! I was afraid to bend it small enough to fit and in the process damage or kink the hose. After a little manipulation I took a picture showing a way to store the hose inside the burner area. Make sure where the hose crosses over the burner's gas piping it is positioned as shown so that the stand/cover fits fully onto the base and the storage box lid can close properly. Also be careful wrapping the hose so the igniter doesn't get damaged.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great product but burner cap melted!
Reviewed in the United States on 6 May 2018
This is a great product, However we had an interesting problem, which we would like to share: We are sailing around the world for over six years, have been using similar portable cookers for hiking and also sometimes in the boat. This had been the best ever until one day we had to use it longer, maybe around 15 minutes and the burner cap melted! Since the gas flow channels below were blocked I had to employ a small file for about an hour to reopen them. After that it is burning well and we are using it only for short service periods so that it will not melt again. We hope that the company uses a more heath resistant alloy in the later products...

5.0 out of 5 stars Flame is Adjustable and It Works!
Reviewed in the United States on 19 October 2017
I bought this stove for several reasons, but the BIGGEST reason was I was damn tired of firing up a Coleman camp stove and the flame adjustments were HIGH and HIGHER. Gas One claims that their flame is very adjustable from simmer to boil. So I bought one recently for a trip into the Olympic Mountains (drive-in, not hike) for some camping.

This stove works as advertised. And I mean everything. I tested it with both propane (adapter included with the stove) and a couple of butane cylinders I had lying around. The flame control is smooth as glass, and VERY adjustable. If you buy yourself a propane tank adapter, you can even hook it up to a 5-gallon propane tank and save money on those expensive green cylinders, too.

The hard plastic case was a definite plus, and has a solid sliding lock on it. The spark starter fires up the stove every time. No more lighters or matches needed. Just like turning on the gas stove at your house. Turn...Click...Spark pops...You got cooking, baby.

So what if it only has the single burner? You could just buy TWO of these stoves and they won't cost much more than buying a single Coleman stove, which are crap unless you want to spend close to a hundred bucks for their upgraded ones. And the Coleman stoves are heavy, anyway. This Gas One setup is very light, but well built out of stainless steel. Finally...someone comes along and puts out a camp stove that you can adjust the heat output as well as your gas stove at home. For around thirty bucks, you can't do any better in my humble opinion. I will NEVER buy a Coleman again, you can bet the farm on that. Thank you, Gas One. This review comes to you from a guy who has been car camping the National Forests of Washington State and the Pacific Northwest for over thirty years. I also run a car camping website, and this stove goes on our Recommended Gear list.
