Thanks Sierra! Fab book and was amazing to have a book with a special needs child in it. They are hard to find! I have 3 kids with special needs and totally loved this book. Well written and no plot or spelling issues I saw which I find with other digital authors.
Definately recommend this book!!

Great story!

I really need to learn not to be so damn stubborn. I picked up this book because I want to read the next book in the series. But within the first few pages I pretty much knew it wasn't for me. However I like Sierra Hill's Courting Love series and I want to read the next book in this series and I really hate not finishing a book once I start it. So really the issue is I'm a stubborn idiot who wasted her day.
This was one of those times I just didn't connect with either character. And I never really felt any romance between them either. I just felt like he was a cold, selfish jerk and she was convenient and attracted to him. Whenever things didn't work out he shut down, used her then ran away. And when he made stupid selfish decisions and they didn't work he came crawling back.
Brooklyn I just didn't really care about at all. She was all "I'm a strong independent woman" but she just kept putting up with his crap. His apologies were seriously lacking and he was genuinely shocked every time she reacted rationally to his cold shoulder.
Rant ahead with spoilers
I thought he was still in love with the dead ex wife until he explains that they were not working out and that she died upset because he wasn't really in love with her. She was just convenient and did what he wanted.
SOUND FAMILIAR BROOKE?
He has a bad day when a different ex pops up. He comes home, has sex with Brooklyn then asks her to sleep in her own room. He then is late to take his child to school, when Brooklyn goes to see if he's ready she overheard him on the phone talking about moving and having to give her up. She is naturally upset, takes his son to school and gets on with her day. He then gets home from work late after sending a text message of thanks all day. Then he is dumbfounded she is going to move home to let him deal. He then takes off for a week to set up a new life in a new state and when he returns he is stunned she doesn't want to drop her entire life and follow him.
Seriously? Where was the actual romance? Maybe when he was spouting off about his dead wife being the best woman and mother EVER who couldn't be replaced?
But surprisingly it was hard for him when he moved without her, on a whim, so he moves back and all's right in the world and they're back together and skipping off into the sunset.
Oh and the drama with the ex just magically went away. But it's all good now because he is letting the dead ex wife go to make room in his heart for Brooke.
I just can't with these idiots. Sorry.

This is one book that will tug at you heartstrings and have you turning the pages as fast as you can.
Garrett is a single father to a special needs son Caleb he is also a coach for young players. His whole life revolves around Caleb and trying to give him the best life possible. Then Brooklyn comes to work with Caleb Garrett is instantly drawn to her but he has no room in his life for anyone but Caleb. Can they form a family together Do they have a future You will have to read to see but make sure you have the tissues handy
I was given a copy of this book but this is a true and honest review

What an awesome start to a new series from Sierra Hill. This book had a little bit of everything and had me enthralled from the very first chapter. Actually it was the opening sentence that left me intrigued as to how this story would play out.
Brooklyn ended up by being a godsend to Garrett and Caleb. To her it was just a summer job, but ended up changing all of their lives.
I love Sierra's writing style. But especially the way she creates her worlds with her words. I have loved every book I have read of hers and I know I will adore all of her future books as well.

Brooklyn enters Garrett and little Caleb's life when they needed help the most. She opened up their hearts and made great improvements with Caleb's disabilities.
A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed.

Game changer has huge potential but i feel there where a lot of parts sorely lack. I felt the chemistry between the 2 main characters wasn’t very well written and the family dynamics where kind of weird in regards to entwining with the story. However i loved the characters as individuals.

I was totally blown away by this book. A widowed single father finding love and all the ups and downs that comes with a new relationship, on top of the difficulties of caring for a child with disabilities. It definitely pulls at all the heart strings. Absolutely loved the story and loved the relationship that bonded Caleb and Brooklyn to a point where her influence ultimately helped a him grow into himself and navigate a life where things are learnt differently and take a little longer to master. Brooklyn and Garretts relationship help both of them bloom into the people they could be helping one another learn to love again/for the first time. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.

I knew I was going to love this book... I didn't realize it would consume me!!!

11 hours! 11 HOURS PEOPLE!!! I started this book 11 hours ago! I could not put it down. I growled at my husband for making me get up to help cook dinner. My heart is still recovering from so many things that this book threw at me! Garrett is a single dad to a child with special needs son.... Brooklyn is the woman that comes in to help take care of Caleb. ( I am sorry if this seems a bit off because I am still trying to gather my feelings as I type) The story that these 3 create is noting short of spectacular! My hands are still shaking!! That is how shaken I was by this book. There was one line that just killed me. KILLED ME!!! And when you all get to it you will know which one it is! I have read the other reviews, so I was not expecting this book to hit me so hard! This book was absolutely phenomenal! Sierra Hill has this way of pulling me into the story, like I am actually in it as one of the characters watching everyone's stories unfold! I felt so connected to these people. Like they were my friends and family! I cried on more than one occasion! Gahhhhh! I know this review is not at all doing this book justice because I am having the hardest time getting all my thoughts and feeling together, but at the same time that is one of the highest compliments from me because that means the author has made me feel so much and pulled me so far into the story that reality is not coming back to me very quickly! So I will go now..... know this book was insanely awesome! If there was a way to give it more than 5 stars I totally would! Go get it now so you can read it and fall in love with Garrett and Brooklyn!

Too much explicit sex in this otherwise sweet and simple story. Two disappointed stars.

If you enjoy lots of explicit sex in a sweet and simple plot, you'll probably like this story. It wasn't my cup of tea. (WARNING: Spoilers ahead!)
Briefly, here's the plot. A former NBA star and university football coach (Garrett) hires a beautiful graduate student (Brooklyn) as a live-in nanny for his special needs son (Caleb). Brooklyn bonds with Caleb right away, which is sweet. But lust soon strikes Garrett and Brooklyn, and the story degenerates into numerous pages of explicit sex that leave nothing to the reader's imagination. I enjoy sex in a novel, but enough is enough!
Aside from all the sex, the plot is pretty bland, with very little drama, suspense or conflict. Caleb's birth mother shows up and makes a few threats, but that problem is quickly resolved. Sweet little Caleb makes amazing progress under Brooklyn's tutelage, and the story ends in a super sweet HEA--definitely the best part of the book. I also enjoyed Kyler's character.
To the author: For the benefit of future readers who might not enjoy eroticism, please consider adding a warning to the blurb. Thank you.
