Enjoyable reread of an oldie.

Enjoyable reread of an oldie through my library.
Okay plot with a few eye roll moments.
Really couldn’t see Rorie surviving like she did but you never know what you can do till you have to.
Hawk was a mercenary and had basically lost his soul over the years.
He finds it again with Rorie but has one hell of a guilty secret.
Loved the epilogue, so sweet.
Read many years ago in paperback format.

This book only rivaled Monica Mclean's story Cinderella Bride which I recently read as well. Rorie Dean who has undergone the loss of her brother succeeds in overcoming her preconceived prejudices and fears to take a leap of faith to save her nephew Frankie and the man she loves Gabriel Hawk. Not an easy thing to do when the man is bent on destroying himself. This is truly a book not to put down!
