GIGABYTE GK-FORCE K85 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

And this keyboard was a perfect match:
*Cheap and sturdy.
*Exactly the same feeling of my Cherry G80-3000LSCEU-2 Blue as they use the same switch.
Things I don't like:
The blue LEDs. They are way too bright and somehow a little bit disturbing in dark environments.
If there the LEDs were green/red/amber then it's perfect for its price.
So of 4 purchased 3 are now faulty which is a fairly poor outcome. I'm going to see if I can refund the 2 faulty ones we have and go with a different brand next time.
Would highly recommend for professional use as long as your colleagues are ok with the mechanical clacks.
My only complaint from the last few days of use is that the shift key is either very slightly too stiff or doesn't provide as much tactile feedback causing the occasional error but this I would consider minor and very easily acclimated to.
-RGB is great. The side scrolling rainbow seems a bit 'jittery'. There's a small high pitched hum when the lights are on, but you don't notice it if you have headphones on.
-It's got a convenient Windows Key lock button
-Nice brushed metal base
Would not recommend for gaming.
Solid build quality, no LED lights, etched keys, easy to clean, not overly clicky and loud. Perfect for professional use.

I have tried everything from cheap coolermaster browns, Razer black widows to top of the class Ducky shine keyboards andd Topre realforce.
This Keyboard is one of the best keyboards if not *the best* keyboard for the price it offers. It is cherry MX reds and they are perfect for me. Surprisingly, my hands were beginning to complaing really hard after grinding on the actuation force of blues and browns. Reds feel like a breath of fresh air. Now I don't feel like I have an dance with carpal tunnel while I am typing :) !!
I really really loved the face that the spacebar is direct action and not that garbage metal reflex action. A tip for fellow programmers and gamers alike. This is one of those keyboards that really benefit from having the Spacebar key upside down. Try flipping it, It really made me feel right at home with the keyboard. YMMV, but this keyboard is right now my main daily driver.
- Original Cherry MX blue switches
- Strong and heavy keyboard
- Simple design
- Dual purpose function keys
- Windows lock functionality
- Non-slip rubber feet stands
- No backlight
- Comparatively loud clicky noise may be inappropriate in office environment
Some keys completely stopped working, it started concatenating "123456789-=`" to each key press of some other keys, very weird stuff.
Tried reinstalling drivers and etc, nothing worked except getting a different keyboard.
Then I contacted Gigabyte, after providing the SN, I was told there is no warranty for this item.
There's no other way than returning it and I feel so disappointed, but thank Amazon and the seller offering me the chance to return and refund after all.
Keyboard is well built, keys don't scratch much. But the keycaps, while built well, have printed lettering which aren't even aligned properly. If that bugs you, you can buy replacements, fortunately. (It does bug me, and I'm looking for ways to just melt them off.) No ugly RGB, no eye-searing "gaming" typefaces on the keys. It's very sound. (And noisy :)
In terms of features, the only annoying thing is that the Fn key is to the right-hand side. You have to move your left hand all the way to the right of the alphanumeric block to be able to control media playback. Who thought that was a good idea?
La construcción del teclado es buena y las teclas son muy cómodas de utilizar, la calificación de 3 estrellas es porque la página está en español pero el teclado viene en inglés.
- Genuine Cherry MX Red switches
- Simple, clean aesthetics
- Plug-and-play, no software required
- Overall very good quality
- FN keys (for media and other stuff)
- A spacebar that sounds flimsy (but in fact it is not)
What you don't get (over more expensive keyboards)
- LED Backlighting
- Dedicated media keys
The keyboard is sturdy and heavy - a good sign - and fits perfectly in an office environment. The Cherry MX Red travel is super quiet, but make noise if they bottom out vigorously (I suggest buying and installing rubber o-rings if you want the quietest keyboard possible).
It still prefer MX Brown switches, but the sensation of the Red is very nice too. It feels like typing on a cloud. Very pleasant!
