Good not as great26 February 2011 - Published on Amazon.com
Not much more can be said about Cobra. Antonio Fuso art still looks amazing but it is kind of shocking how the coloring makes his art look so different. The Trinh character from the first volume gets more attention in this volume, while Chuckles kind of felt like a side character. The main difference between this book and vol. 1 is that it kind of lacked the Wow moment like the twist in the middle of volume 1. Still pick it up if you're a fan of the first volume. If you haven't picked up the first volume, do it. Even if you're not into GI Joe(I wasn't until I read this) its a solid spy series.
Great set of stories.5 September 2013 - Published on Amazon.com
The Cobra series is amongst the best comic book series I've read in quite some time. The stories make you interested in IDWs Cobra terrorist structure, and care about characters that have been passed over since they were conceived (like Chuckles). It is worth the read from beginning to end.
Definitely a new and cool take on Chuckles14 July 2015 - Published on Amazon.com
Definitely a new and cool take on Chuckles. Well worth a side read by any G.I. Joe fan or any fan of the spy/terrorism genre. It is good blend of G.I. Joe and the reality of the world we live in. More darker than the classic comics but definitely a must have for adult fans of G.I. Joe.
Strong follow up to a great graphic novel21 February 2011 - Published on Amazon.com
I really enjoyed volume 1 of this series and had high expectations for the follow-up. While I still think volume 1 is better, this is still a very high quality book in terms of story, character development, art work, and paper quality. Containing the four issue series and a special fifth issue, plus all the cover art, it is a much better deal than trying to collect the individual issues on a news-stand. Anyone who is a fan of the IDW GI Joe series will find this an excellent read. I am anxiously anticipating volume 3.
