After reading of how one’s home should give pleasure I went to a fairly dull room and saw almost instantly how I could transform the room by changing the outlook simply and cheaply. This is a unique and inspired book written ahead of its time! It's well written and enjoyable to read/listen as a non-fiction book! The author is very knowledgeable and explains concepts of home designing in an accessible way for everyone. I love her use of examples that we can all relate to. There are nuggets of information and clever ideas about home designing that are not widely known or revealed in the mainstream building industry.
