Product Description

A good love story always begins the same way.

A chance meeting.

A sizzling look.

A flat tire…

Dani Miner could have been voted least likely to be a damsel in distress.

Tabor Hunter should have been voted most likely to do the rescuing.

So when Dani gets a flat tire on her way home one evening, she is, at first, less than thrilled to be helped out by a man that is clearly too charming for his own good. Even if he is handsome. And buff. And the king of the thousand watt smile.

However, prickly Dani is eventually charmed by her hottie knight in shining sunglasses. And a brief moment spent on the side of the road on a hot summer evening quickly leads to a first date.

But what Dani doesn’t realize is that she has just agreed to go out with the very famous defensive end for the San Diego Quakes. And Tabor is thrilled to finally meet a woman who doesn’t fall at his overly athletic feet. This year's most valuable player is excited to have a chance to be an ordinary guy with a less than ordinary woman.

But being a celebrity can put a real kink in your love life and Dani, a woman used to a much quieter life, is soon caught up in the high paced world of fame and football.

Falling in love is easy. Falling in love with a sports star is another story.

Can Dani figure out how to play the game before she fumbles her chance at happiness?

4.0 out of 5 stars A sweet love story 8 January 2016
By chrissycf - Published on Amazon.com

Fumbled is the first book of T.K. Rapp's that I've read, and it was pretty awesome. It had a sweet love story, amazing lead characters, and featured my absolute favorite sport.. Football!

Dani is a strong character who keeps to herself, but has a great group of friends that are there for her as well as her family. She's single (by choice) and working on moving past, past hurts with her ex, as well as trying to find funding for the Rivers Kids program she runs after school at the school she teaches at. When she gets bad news about her program, she thinks her day can't get any worse, until her tire goes flat, and no matter how hard she tries, she is unable to change it. Her luck changes when the mysterious Tabor offers to help her.

Quickly you can see the chemistry between Tabor and Dani is hot. Dani is immediately attracted to him, but has no clue who he is. When she makes some quite funny jokes to lighten the mood and make sure he's not a murderer, I was giggling to myself. She has a way of saying the weirdest things when she is nervous. When he asks for her number, she gives it to him, but she never thought that he would call.

Dani walks around thinking she just met a nice guy who's extremely hot, she didn't realize that Tabor was the THE man for football in her town. She slowly starts to open up to Tabor and their friendship/relationship is sweet. It doesn't move too fast, or too slow. When Dani tells her sister who she's seeing, her sister figures out who it is and lets Dani know. Dani has a hard time throughout this whole book with dealing with Tabor being famous and the life he leads. At times this was frustrating to me, if she loves him as much as she says she does, nothing else should matter, but I understand her wanting to move slowly and figure things out between the two of them outside of the public eye before taking it public.

Dani and Tabor's relationship is amazing, he's there for her and is always helpful, and Dani really shined as a character when she was with Tabor. I was so happy when she finally let people know that they were together, yet I knew this would be the downfall for them. When things do go sour for the couple, instead of talking it out, Dani pushes Tabor away and I wanted to scream at her for this. It doesn't take long for Dani to know she made the worst mistake of her life letting Tabor walk away, but getting him back is another story. Seeing both of them struggling broke my heart. I wanted them together and for them to get an amazing HEA, but I knew hearts would need to be broken before they could have that, but it still broke my heart.

This story is beautifully written, and definitely pulled at my heartstrings. I loved both Dani and Tabor's characters and wanted them to be happy. The ending and the epilogue was beautiful, I just wish the epilogue didn't occur so far in the future, I would have liked to have seen some of the things that happened from the end to the epilogue, but I can imagine. I highly recommend this story if you love unexpected relationships, a sweet yet tough male lead, and a little bit of drama, and of course football. This is a amazing story, and I can't wait to read more books in the Girls of Beachmont series!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved Dani and Tabor! <3 7 January 2016

What a beautiful story!
I have been a fan of TK Rapp for a while and I was so happy when I heard she had another book coming out. What I find refreshing about this story is the how they met and connected. She didn't know his real identity and he just wanted to be a normal guy without all the fame. As their relationship grew throughout the story, you couldn't help but root for Dani and Tabor. I could understand her hesitation because of who he was and she had to decide if it was something she was willing to deal with. There were times where she made me want to shake her, but I understood where she was coming from. Tabor was such a sweet heart though. He was very patient with Dani and made her realize to take a chance on them. Some other things happen making you wonder if they could make it. Will they get their HEA? You have to read to find out! I am anxiously waiting for book 2. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next :)

Fumbled by T. K. Rapp is an awesome love story! I found this book to be great!

This book was a perfect combination two character who lead different lives but find their way to love.

I love the innocent way the two had a chance meeting!

Dani is a strong woman whose past relationship has her wanting to be the independent woman she once was. Tabor is the very famous football player with a big heart. I fell in love this book and the characters. I love that the lead characters had family their to support them!

I enjoyed the way T. K. Rapp tells the story for both points view. I always love knowing what each character is thinking.

I found myself reading this story in two days! I didn't want to put it down.

This a five star book! A wonderful love story.
