Product description

Product Description

Readers are comparing Frosted Sweets to a modern Southern Sex and the City!

Morgan Lewis, a hopeless romantic and the bubbly owner of the Polka Dot Bakery, couldn't wait to wed the man of her dreams. Feeling giddy as she walks through the park carrying her beautiful wedding dress over her shoulder, she sees a sight no soon-to-be bride should ever see. In that moment, the wedding of her dreams becomes a story fit for a gossip magazine. As tears stream down her face, she wonders who to cancel first; the church or the caterer.

Insert Jayden Rivers whose career in production has him relocated to Atlanta. His mother always said it would take a special woman to lure him away from his work, but he felt like someone sucker punched him when he saw her... the sweet smelling goddess carrying a wedding dress through the park. Will Jayden be able to set the camera aside and restore Morgan's faith in love?

Frosted Sweets brings women a pinch of contemporary romance, a dash of romantic comedy, and a sprinkle of chick lit in one delicious treat.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions in this review are my own. A.M. Willard has written a book that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and please foodie readers. Frosted Sweets pulled me right in to its fairytale world with the first page I completed. I found the main character Morgan Lewis delightful and very relatable. I love Willard's descriptions throughout the book. The plot keeps up well with the detailed descriptions. The plot twists in the book are well written and believable, and the book can also be an escape. I really enjoyed reading this novel.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book 13 December 2015

Let me start my review with holy cow, how did I not know about this author sooner? Secondly, I loved this book. I hated putting it down and I hated for it to end. The dynamic of the friendship that Morgan and her friends have is a strong base to the book. Then comes all the fun stuff. The lead female, Morgan, is fun and witty and when her world comes crashing down she doesn't just quit. She picks herself up and keeps going even stonger. The sexual tension between Morgan and her love interest, Jayden, is amazing. Their interactions stoppedal my heart so many times during the book. I love this book. It is sweet and romantic and amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story!! 26 April 2016
By Crystal M/Crystal's Cozy Corner Blog - Published on Amazon.com

Throwing herself into her bakery, she decides that what she needs to do is work on herself. The whole, "I don't need a man." thing. Cue Jayden. A recent transplant to the area who falls hard for Morgan at first sight.

This is a great book, I love the writing. A.M. Willard has brought a whole group of people to life, the good, bad, and in-between. I giggled out loud a few times. Luckily, my boyfriend ignores me. Not so easy to do when I'm reading in public, though. I can't wait to read more from this series!! Now to patiently wait... Is it done yet???

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Romance Story. 29 August 2016

This book follows the characters Morgan and Jayden on there journey to finding love. You also get to know more about Morgan's friends and how there lives are going which was really nice to me and made me enjoy this book even more. Morgan is the owner of a bakery and a very hopefull romantic but she sure did make me laugh out loud in some parts. Jayden was my favorite character that guy was so sweet, caring and sexy it's easy to fall for him. I really enjoyed Frosted Sweets it's the first book in the Taste of Love series by A.M. Willard and also the first book I've read by this author. The book was very well written and easy to read and follow along with. The only complaint I had was how it ended because it leaves you hanging and personally I don't like that. But it is part of a series and book 2 Sugary Sweets is out now which I will be starting next. So I'm happy that I don't have to wait to see how this book is going to continue. Overall this book was a sweet romance with a little bit of spice added in. I would recommend this to anyone who like romance to give this series a chance.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very long drawn out read 30 August 2016
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

I have to say this is one of the worst books I have read in a while. Repetitive feeling, long drawn out internal narrative. I found myself skipping over whole pages just because it was so boring. What I found very strange was no physical descriptions of characters so you never feel a connection.
