I found this book to have a slow start and wasn’t sure I could finish it but I pressed on and found the book picked up with great speed and romped home with bullets literally flying. It has quite a good twisty plot set in a really good story that started years before. Only downside for me was the blasphemy, that’s why it got 4 stars. Pretty good otherwise.

I had previously not read LynDee Walker books until I came across a three book offer for the start of the Nichelle Clarke series. After reading Front Page Fatality, I was hooked! And couldn’t wait to read the next book and the next until I have now read the complete series.

Nichelle is a newspaper crime writer, with a wonderful support cast, a Pomeranian named Darcy ( how cute), and two, yes two fabulous blokes vying for her attention. One has a slightly dodgy past. Guess which one she chooses?

The storyline’s are amazing, and Nichelle literally puts herself in harms way to get the story!
Try this series. It is wonderful.

Enjoyed the writing, with the exception of the word "drug" rather than drag or dragged; at the appropriate time of course, as drugs are involved in this story. A good base for a series - have immediately purchased the next one and I hope the pace continues.
