Product Description

A Cinderella story about a pregnant waitress who marries her boring next-door neighbor for his health benefits... only to realize he's the man she should have been with all along.

What Kaylee Carter needs, is a friend with benefits.

Health benefits, that is.

An accidental pregnancy has left her jobless and broke, with no money to cover her car payment or rent, let alone prenatal care and childbirth.

When next door neighbor Owen Taylor offers a marriage of convenience – room, board, and medical insurance – it’s an answer to prayer. But as they settle in together, Kaylee can’t help but wonder what Owen gets out of the deal.

What Owen Taylor wants, is Kaylee Carter.

Nice guy Owen has been quietly pursuing Kaylee for months, but she’s never given him the time of day. Now that he’s gotten her into his life and his bed, he’s not about to give her up.

But when Kaylee’s baby daddy comes knocking, what will Kaylee do? Does she choose her husband, or her baby’s father? The man who knocked her up... or the one who put the pieces together afterwards?

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a Sweet Story!! 3 August 2014

I've loved all of Jenna Bennett's books, especially the Savannah Martin series, and I certainly wanted to read this book. Truly, it was one of the sweetest stories I have ever read! It didn't have much suspense (I usually prefer mysteries and suspense books with romantic elements), but it was a great read. The characters were memorable, the plot was well-written, and the romance was hot. Wouldn't it be great if all men were as thoughtful and loving as Owen?? You won't regret reading this book, regardless of your preferred style!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 20 October 2016

Although there are a few things I would've liked to see go differently, they are probably not things that would have made the characters or story more believable or true to themselves. Both main characters were very relatable, and the storyline felt real.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not My Cup of Tea 24 November 2015

FWB was okay. I can totally understand where Kaylee was coming from, but frankly Owen should have just known better with some of his actions. Owen's a nice guy, but he seems so naive at times. The story has its sweet moments, but I can't get over Owen's thought process.

Again, the story wasn't bad, but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Quick read. A bit predictable but worth reading. Totally enjoyed the book.
