Told she couldn't read at school, Glennys never dreamt of a life in print, but life had a different plan.

Her first job after university was managing the Australian Red Cross's Youth News magazine.

Her first short story 'A Whales Tale' won first place in the Stirling Literary Award.

As a result of her first novel '50 Ways To Grieve Your Lover' she was profiled by US internet and marketing guru Seth Godin, in his worldwide competition about people making a difference. Her follow up book 'Me Time' won a People’s Choice Award.

Her monthly column in a local magazine has been going for 4 years.

She has several freelance writing clients including the City of Perth, her blog 'The Ponder Room' is read in over 70 countries, and she is the Australian Society of Authors Professional Development Officer in WA.

Glennys trained as a consumer psychologist and spent over 25 years exploring why we do what we do. In 2000 she established her consumer psychology company The Customers Voice and in 2012 she was nominated for a Telstra Business Women's Award. She now sits on several Boards and splits her time between research, writing, guest speaking and running workshops (on Personal Branding, Me Time, Overcoming Grief, Writing Your Novel). 'A wonderful book, a perfect blend of wisdom and humour' (50 Ways to Grieve Your Lover)

'What a clever girl, the text touched me on so many issues. I'm going to offer the book to the Hospice library, after I have one more read.' (50 Ways to Grieve Your Lover)

'Glennys Marsdon she writes neat & brief fun blog entries that have a great visual feel and are not too long to read. Good example for a laid back 'news with a difference'.'
