I don't know where to start.... I loved Jasper and Emily's story, but i absolutely adore Jasper!!
Jasper is such an amazing character, so beautifully written. As a member of a Special Ops team, that fly under the radar, the lengths he will go to protect those he cares about, even if it's protecting them from himself, are incredible.
Emily is an amazing woman, with a huge capacity for love and understanding. She truly is worthy of Jasper, if only Jasper will let her in.
A great book written about the the men, who work in the dark, and the women that bring them the light.

Jasper’s story is the second in the 707 Freedom series and I’m kicking my own butt because I’ve seen Riley’s name around but held off reading her work but I’m fully immersed now and I’m not holding back😁
Jasper’s story is full of emotions. His past is so sad but when he meets Emily, he’s attracted to her but pulls back after finding out she has a child, but not for the reasons she’s thinking🤔 Suffice to say when he goes into the bank one afternoon and he sees Emily at the teller and in danger because of a bank heist...all bets are off and the kid gloves come off too 🥊
Loved this story and I’m looking forward to reading the next two❣️Read Freeing Jasper in the 707 boxset😍

This is the second book of A Black Ops romance featuring one of the characters from the 707 research and development team. The first book was about Lily and Lennox and book 2 is about Jasper, the playboy of the group and Emily, Lily’s friend.
Told in dual points of view, the reader is introduced into Jasper’s revolving door of women and his all consuming guilt from his dark past. Jasper’s charismatic and brooding character is what draws Emily, a military widow with a six year old boy Jason. This series has more than a few secondary characters and it takes a few chapters before one can remember who is who and who killed who but after a quarter of the story one finally connects the dots. I must say that I can’t help but compare Emily and Jasper’s complex relationship to Lenox and Lily’s sizzling chemistry. Emily and Jasper’s first meeting didn’t go well especially when he learned she has a son. A few months later they meet again and they are obviously attracted to each other and there is a connection but it goes a bit complicated. Jasper flexes his alpha male abs and declares he is going to take charge of Emily and her son when a threat from Emily’s past presents itself. This is a slow burn romance but when this two finally get their act together it is steaming hot!
There are a few angsty moments but for me the better part of this book is the high octane drama and action with entertaining banter within the men in the group: Jasper, Lenox, Levi Clark and Connor. Will Jasper’s emotional baggage weigh him down? Will Emily be able to carry Jasper’s burden and have their happy ever after?
This fast paced, action packed adventure romance is the perfect book to curl into on a cold Sunday afternoon. Watch out for Levi’s and Clark’s story next.

I have read and enjoyed books 1 and 2 of this series and don’t doubt the rest will be just as good . This series is about the 707 Black Ops team and this is the story of Jasper when he meets a single Mum Emily. Jasper has baggage around children and takes a long time to trust his feelings for Emily and her 6 year old son Jason. This is a good read, well written and awesome characters.

I really enjoyed this book and the way it dealt with a painful subject. The way the author has exposed the secret, talked through it and brought the hero out the other side was a pleasure to read. The inclusion of the past really brought this book to life for me. As always, a great storyline and the interactions between the hero and heroine was dynamic. Keeping the other characters from previous books involved made me hungry for more.

Jasper and Emily.
I have to say this one was sweet Emily and her little man Jason are both adorable and Jasper was a heartbreaker with his guilt over his past his journey was one I won’t forget and by the end I loved what he and Emily had built together with Jason.

I loved this story.
Jasper is part of a Black Ops group that doesn't exist. He meets Emily at Lily and Lennox's place (Book 1) and there's an instant attraction between them. But he has issues and pulls away from her.
This story tells how they overcome the issues and the danger that Lily is placed under.
It's an action packed read. There's a lot of humour too. And a sweet romance.
I'm looking forward to the next in the series!

Freeing Jasper by Riley Edwards is the second book in her 707 Freedom series. I really enjoyed the story about Jasper and Emily. I'd give the story 4.8 stars and can't read the next book in the series.
Emily Jenkins works at a bank when she comes face to face with a bank robber. Jasper was there and steps in but it exposes the 707 team as he calls two of them in for assistance. Since she's now knows of the secretive black ops group she'll recognize that Jasper doesn't want to be around women with children. There's back story that will bring to light her husband, the father of her son and drugs being funneled into the Army base. Will Jasper tell her his past and why he doesn't do well around kids? How will the 707 rescue her son when he's kidnapped?
Jasper Walker avoids getting involved with women who have children but when faced with a robbery he doesn't hesitate to step in to save her. He tries to stay away but Emily is friends with Lenox and Lily so she'll be hard to avoid. But the robbery didn't feel right there's something else going on so he'll step in to watch over Emily and her son. There's a exciting ending and I can't wait to read more about the 707 Freedom Series.

Genre: Romance - Suspense, Military
Stand Alone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes - Book 2 of the 707 Freedom Black Ops series (Same series, different couple)
POV: Jasper and Emily
Steam Level: Quite Warm
4.5/5
I love Jasper. I loved him in Lily and Lennox's book and I loved his book. Jasper is a sexy playboy with hurt lurking in his soul. A hurt we know about from reading Free but come to know and understand the depth of in his and Emily's book. Emily is a widow and a single mom who puts her son first and doesn't have time for Jasper's fear of children. The push and pull between Emily and jasper and their feelings and fears is emotional, heart-breaking, and beautiful. I love the relationship between the guys and how they stand up for each other while also caring enough to call each other out on their crap. Overall Freeing Jasper is about love, loss, friendship, forgiveness and trust. Once I started it I didn't want to put it down and cannot wait to read more of this series and these strong, sexy, and sweet men and the women who love them. This is an excellent series that will suck you in and take you on a wild ride.
