This was a fun, relatively quick read. The storyline wasn't overly deep, but had enough substance to balance out all the sex scenes. I loved the banter between Blue and Mick, and especially Blue's ability to get into any security system and test Mick's patience. I'm interested in reading more of the EE Inc gang, so will be heading off to give the 'Hell or High Water' series a go next.

I love Mick and Blue's story.

The running away from one another because the attraction they feel is too much.
The learning to trust each other.
The realisation that they love each other.

The suspense and the story around the two of them was perfect.

I loved Blue, Mick was more gruff and tough, but Blue is exactly the kind of characters I root for. I loved that he got someone in his corner now, who gets him.

I really loved it. Would love another look into their lives :-)

I only write reviews when moved by really good content so here you go.

It started out with the Men of Honour series and this spin off is excellent. Many authors tend to lose something in the content over time but SE Jakes just gets better and better.

Mick and Blue were minor characters in the Men of Honour and Hell or High Water series' and Free Falling does not disappoint. Gritty, well written sometimes with a twist, always with passion. These books are not for the faint hearted or those who don't like MM reads. I do recommend to anyone thinking of reading these that they make more sense in the following order:
Read Men of Honour first now 6 books in the series as at Dec 2013, also Free Falling which is a one off but connected to characters in these books, then the two books currently in this HH series. Early in 2014 another spin off called Dirty Deeds is due out. So far these books have just got better and better and Ms Jakes is a prolific writer who doesn't keep her fans waiting long.

I really enjoyed this novella, it gave me a great story as background to Blue and Mick who had been introduced in the Hell or High Water series. Although I've called it a novella it was a decent length to read, enough to really get a sense of the characters. Another great work be SE Jakes and I strongly recommend it!

May seem odd characters to like ...a theif and a mercenary but i really loved this book. Their unusual relationship is fascinating to read and the m/m sex scenes are detailed and HOT,bordering on BDSM. If graphic m/m sex offends you this is not the book for you.
I have now read more by this author and they keep getting better.
