This was such a lovely story and reminded me of the book by Cecelia Ahern "Love Rosie aka Where Rainbows End" which is just about to be made into a movie.
This is a sweet short story that happen in the span of some twenty years between Jen and Drake. Though it would have been nice to have some substance in between their meetings, the book only gave us those four kisses and when they happened. It would have been nice to have the reason why Drake preferred not to stay home and why he needed the money.
The ending was so abrupt I didn't see it coming. It was like the writer suddenly lost the drive to write and just ended the story right there on the road where Jen was parked. I mean, you build your love story for twenty years and you end it like that? Come on.
The other reviewer was right, if you want something like this in a more complete book, read One Day. It is actually their similarity why I got this book, only it wasn't.
A few more chapters to properly lead to the ending would have been nice.
