Kori suffered a great loss, one that left her feeling so desolate and alone, that she believed nothing would ever fill the void…

The only thing that kept her going was the one little piece of joy she still had in her life, her baby boy, Rhett.

She had no choice but to move forward and give her son the best life she could. Which meant moving back home.

Except there was one problem.

Home was where Reed would be…

The man who once held her heart, then shattered it into a million pieces.

Grieving the loss of Rhetts dad, and learning to forgive those who have betrayed her, Kori was battling it all.

But will she ever have the strength to forgive Reed?

This story is about loss and healing, when one woman looses her first love she goes away to go to school. She meets another man and they fall in love, she is going to have his baby, but something goes horribly wrong. Will she ever be able to heal her broken heart? Will she be able to live on?

There was a lot of sad parts, I felt her pain. I got as was, watching her life though these pages. Her girl friend has great words of wisdom. I will say this, I felt we were being reminded again and again that she was in pain.
I didn't like the ending. I got the feeling we missed some things. The sty is not a stand alone. To many endings left open.

We still don't know what happens in a lot of things,
Such as... Who scared her at her home?
What happens to Kim? Do they get married? What sex is the baby? Does Marla get Gavin? Does the mother who lost her son get better? To many questions.
Other wise it's a good story.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

This is a lovely story that deals with issue surrounding the death of a partner and how you move on from such a great loss, especially when there is a child involved. It is also about forgiveness (as the title states). The author takes her time dealing with these issues - nothing is rushed.

The big issue I had with this book was the friendship between Kori and her best friend Maria. The way the spoke to each other (calling each other bitches and twats etc) and their interactions were contrived and simply didn't ring true.

Overall the issues of forgiveness and moving on after the death of a partner really got me thinking and challenged me. I look forward to reading the next story in the series.

Great book heart warming, sad and laugh out loud funny. When she loses her boyfriend in a car accident before their baby is born Kori is left with nothing she moves back home onto her parents property to raise their son Rhett but what she didn't count on was running into Reed her first boyfriend that cheated on her. Reed is trying to get Kori's attention so they can reconcile their difference, what she doesn't count on is falling back in love with him but they both question if they ever really fell out of love.
This is a great heart warming read I was captivated from the very beginning.
