My go-to author for historical romance does it again!Reviewed in the United States on 12 July 2019
I won't rehash the blurb, but I will say that when Michelle McLean writes a book, you can absolutely count on witty, stunning dialogue absolutely infused with hilarity. This is why she's on my auto-buy list...any situation, any character you can count on her to find the humor, somehow always appropriate for the situation, and draw laughs out of the most unlikely circumstances. With fast, action-packed pacing and brilliantly snappy dialogue, this is a page turner that you won't want to put down (and I'm not usually a fan of historicals, but there you go...Ms. McLean converted me). Definitely grab this one as well as the other titles in the series - you won't have to read them to enjoy this one, but you'll want to!

Glad I got this book too! First thought how could she put together something original for these two. Well, she certainly did! Loved the fighting between these two.
