There is just a rush of words and thoughts in my mind as I review this book. Although i have not read the epic and extremely amazing paperback novels by Joe Haldeman; I can say that I'm ok with that because the Graphic Novels have stunned me; I would dare say more than the written Novels ever could or would!!! The story is spectacular, it goes without saying, but the artwork by Marvano is so EPIC in scope, so cinematic as if you are watching a kubrick, or even possibly a ridley scott film, Marvano puts out such great line work and ink work as well as complete overall design of these 3 books (yes, this is a trilogy set!) the lettering is good, the coloring is just supreme! This book is well worth it for new and old readers of Joe haldeman books, die hard fans, sci fi fans, comic book or graphic novel fans, it just reaches across the spectrum of possible readers who love this type of book! If you have read the novels or have not or are just coming across this book, I highly reccomend you do not pass this book up and you delve into other written books by Joe Haldeman and especially get hold of graphic novels by MARVANO for more of his cinematic artwork! you truly will not be dissapointed as I am. You will join me in awe of these two who bring us: THE FOREVER WAR!
