I really enjoyed reading this story. You fall in love with all the characters straight away. So now I will be looking to read the rest of the series and maybe more on this author. Great easy to read.

A nice sweet hot romance. Trent & Gracie , the gentle giant of a cowboy & petite Kiwi. Both deny their feelings it goes round & round but a likeable tale. Of course a HEA.
A good escape a bit different to some of the cowboy tales out there.

I didn't finish this one. I'm not totally sure if it was the mood I was in or the story itself, but it didn't 'grab' me.

Forever Dreams is a beautiful romance about love, friendship and family - this will simply make your heart melt. Gracie is just a beautiful soul, I fell in love with her right from the start as she had spunk and was a true character, a bit of a tomboy but also soft and girly when she wanted to be. She as a character stayed true to the end of what she believed she was worth and that was to find true love forever.
Trent and Jordan, OMG those two guys are just the best brothers, their companionship with each other and also the way they both fell in love with Gracie for different reasons was fantastic.
Trent was stubborn, independent but also incredibly hot and very much the Montana cowboy you would expect to meet. The sex scenes in this story were quite romantic but also erotic and they built up really well and also ignited quickly will hot up against the wall, scratch an itch type of moments.
One of the best things about this story is meeting the townsfolk who will no doubt play parts in this series other books that are available.
I have already downloaded book 2 and will be enjoying the next instalment.

Repetitive
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 August 2020Verified Purchase
The book starts off with full of promise, but the characters are irritating at times and the story itself is a little farfetched. The repetitions about certain characteristics get old after a while.
Trent is a hardworking cowboy and is only looking for a wife to give him heirs. He doesn't believe in love as it's a sore topic for him.
Gracie is a schoolteacher who has come all the way from New Zealand to Montana to find a father she never knew.
At the begenning, Trent and Gracie appear to hit it off, but as the story develops, they start to clash with each other. They have feelings which contradict the way they act. They are both stubborn and neither is prepared to admit to what they really feel. The Vegas episode is farfetched. They made a mistake, well that's what they try to convince each other. Can they settle their differences and acknowledge what's right in front of them?
I quite like Trent, despite his grumpiness. Gracie is kind, but takes immaturity to the extreme. The descriptions of the farm and its surroundings are vivid. The ease amongst the family members and the community is very engaging. It's a good concept that could have been portrayed with a better attitude from the characters.

So so

As a free book this is an ok read.
That said, the first half of the book was actually quite interesting and well written. Gracie, having come from New Zealand to find her father, meets Trent, a rancher she's meant to be helping whilst in America.
*Spoilers*
Up until the visit to Vegas I felt that this was quite a sweet read. Trent and Gracie develop feelings for each other despite both being clear on what they both wanted. Gracie, finding her father. Trent, getting married to save his ranch. Love isn't something either really want or is on the agenda for either character. Fate doesn't quite run with that though. So, Vegas happens thanks to a big conference that Trent had to attend. Things between Gracie and Trent heat up and I thought yay they can maybe change their minds about what they're looking for in life outside of their main agendas. Gracie, having gotten drunk, blurts out that she's marrying Trent. Trent at this point is sober and rather than doing the decent thing and getting Gracie back to the hotel to sleep off the drink, he ups and marries her instead.
Trent from this point on acts like a complete jerk to Gracie who's just trying to make the best of a weird situation. Trent finds out who Gracie's father is but doesn't say anything. Instead he lies and manipulates Gracie, whilst treating her like a doormat.
I struggled with the rest of this book after that part passed. I couldn't feel much for the characters after everything and in the midst of all this Gracie finds out her father is.
I really don't think it's worth going further with this series.

What a find.

This story has it all...wit, humour, disagreements and romance. It is well written and the story just flows along beautifully. I loved Trent's character, but was unsure of Bra it's at first. She did grow on me eventually, but seemed to apportion all the blame elsewhere unfairly in my opinion. I will definitely try this author again.

Heartwarming & steamy - what's not to like?

Loved the big ranch premis & the often humorous storyline. Extremely well written with more twists & turns than a snake & ladders game, this will have you hanging onto your seat hoping for a happy ending😉. Not telling though!

Light, frothy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 February 2016Verified Purchase
Bought April 2014. Book not my cup of tea. It's light frothy and just not for me. Storyline so silly. I was aggravated by continual denigration of gracies height. Author didn't research Montana, usa culture, horses and their tack. I agree with low reviews, except where usa readers take exception to English spelling of words. I don't mark usa authors down for their vagaries of spelling and grammar. I wish they'd remember the English language originated here.
