Another great segment!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 July 2019
This series is one of my favourites and I'll be really sad when it's gone! This is the penultimate book and didn't dissapoint, political lines are being drawn, council members are showing true colours and although the story arc develops we still get a bit of some of the supporting characters from previous books which is great! Itching for the next one but conflicted as it will be the last, there is so much to the lore that Roquet has created I would love to see further series from the same world in different houses or races!

A cracking readReviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 November 2020
Good story line. Familiar characters who have become like family. Not too long but with plenty of action.
This Series just keeps on getting better!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 March 2019
Wow, this series just keeps on getting better, I really can't fault it, and I can't wait for the next instalment.
Great readReviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 March 2019
Would recommend, great fun. I binge read the previous six books within about a week. I was very glad that this came out shortly after I was done.
Cavity FillerReviewed in the United States on 23 July 2019
Not as bad as the Bat(d) Cave Book (almost quit the series on that one). But this really felt like half a book - the entire story takes place in 3 days. It really felt like the author just checked the character and supporting cast present boxes while plugging in the series crime solving formula. Vampire politics seem petty, obvious and superficial and the book felt really rushed - and I'm not just saying short - more like the the tale couldn't be done fast enough.
