Some people may get confused over what this book is about, as it says on the front:- 565 delicious slow-cooker, stove-top, oven, and salad recipes. This means that 565 is split between each of the listed sections, maybe not equally, but it is split.
Having said that, it does have quite a lot of the stove-top, oven, and salad recipes and, so far (I'm just over half way through), not a lot of slow-cooker recipes, but saying that, there are loads of yummy recipes within this book.
And even though the author is Phyllis, from what I have seen so far, other peoples names are listed under the recipes. This also includes the tips on nearly every page, which are also quite useful to.
Basically it is a book with loads of delicious recipes in. The recipes are split between the slow-cooker, oven, stove-top "and" salad. There are tips on nearly every page, and the author is not always the writer of the recipes, or the tips.
With all that now cleared, it is full of lovely, yummy recipes, and so far I have marked off quite a lot of them, and I can't wait to give them a try.....

Nice read, but can't be bothered to convert to metric.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 April 2019
US measurements! It's not as if the metric system is something new or exotic - get with the times (publishers and authors). Recipes are for different sized crowds, i.e. 2 people and 8 people.
