I ordered the black leather Flora and was very pleased! This style was much closer to what I was hoping for. Note: the newer styles have a smaller footbed than the older WalkStars, but Flora had a grippy molded footbed with the toe grab plus the upper strap was a better fit. Still not my old WalkStars (they need to bring these back), but close enough! Thank you FitFlop!
I have been wearing them for years. I still have an old pair in my closet and was able to compare...right away I could tell 1. the comfort and cushion was completely different, 2. the bottom of the shoe is completely different and slippery on wet floors, 3. they cause my feet to sweat unlike real Fit Flops, and 4. the quality/material of the sole is nothing like the real Fit Flops. My old Fit Flops are more comfy than the so called new Fit Flops.
I did not wear them until a few months after I bought them so unfortunately I am unable to request a refund, although I should be able to because I paid full price and did not get what I paid for. NOT HAPPY with the purchase...Lesson learned!!!! Only buy certain brands in stores.
Overall the shoes are not Fit Flops, they do fit well, are cute, and are nowhere near as comfortable in comparison to a real Fit Flop. If you want this shoe, just get it at the Fit Flop Store or a major department store.
