Matt Weber's "Fit for Disruption" is a refreshingly easy and practical read. With so much commentary available now about the impacts and need to engage with the current industrial revolution, Fit for Disruption breaks down and provides a common sense framework for how to engage. The emphasis on understanding customer's needs and in essence, co-designing solutions to problems is a reminder that often times businesses rely too much on simply asking a customer what their needs are - funnily sometimes customers don't know. But boldly delving into the different pain points to a customer journey and then prioritising ideas for the solve, as recommended by Weber, is core to business survival. And he gives a valuable message about not needing to reinvent the wheel but rather opening our eyes more widely to all the industries around us, because chances are a solution may already exist in another form.
Full of Weber's insights and observations based on his own experiences running operational teams across varied businesses, Fit for Disruption is a great starting to inspire business transformations and improvements for a wide variety of businesses.

An insightful read. Its contents could never be more relevant today given the disruption to global supply chains and the threats to the existence of many once viable businesses. Just when business owners need all the support they can muster to traverse these troubling times comes a book that promotes thought leadership, innovation and critical thinking.

Disruption- it’s a word that can incite fear or excitement….
Fit for Disruption is a must read for those of us who wish to demystify the word and are looking for a practical guide on how we can embrace disruption and the opportunities for innovation that it provides.
Matthew Webber focuses on the positives of the speed of change by providing his 3 key attributes of change where viability and profitability becomes the crisis we are facing in our own business.
In the author’s words, to develop a creative mindset ‘You have no choice but to be BOLD. Focus not on what you don’t have, but rather on what you do have. Make use of all the resources that are available to you for handling this crisis. Now is also the time to trust yourself. You’ll instinctively know the right course of action, as hard as it may be to take.’
I highly recommend Matthew Webber’s Fit for Disruption to anyone who is looking to be change ready and ahead of the curve in this dynamic and disruptive environment.

In this time of uncertainty, where the word disruption or like, is perhaps used more than any other, I was intrigued by the title, Fit for Disruption.
What I wasn't prepared for, was not being able to put the book down.
Fit for Disruption, is practical, easy to read and constantly puts the customer front of the reader's mind.
The author's experience is clearly evident, through his ability to provide simplicity, in the complex.
Fit for Disruption, takes us on a practical journey, building on our capability, to set solid foundations, facilitate creativity, and lead and inspire our people through change.
If business owners and leaders globally, read and followed the Fit for Disruption model, contained in this book our world would definitely be a better place.

Never has there been a better time to have this book in your pocket/work-satchel/desk, than now.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have already benefited from starting to apply the author’s 3 core pillars alongside the coaching steps within each of these that are contained in the author’s intelligible style.
There is genius in making the complex issues into a simpler yet pragmatic approach and methodology – and this book ticks that box.
I found Matthew Webber nailed the key fundamentals of transforming any business in a very practical, well structured, commercially based way but with heart. Because of this, the book is my new go-to.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book - would recommend spending the time if, like a growing number of us are, you need to lead or be part of responding to business disruption in a rapidly changing world.
The book is clearly written, well structured, offers practical and well-informed perspectives, and nicely emphasises the criticality of customer centricity when customer expectations are increasingly unrelenting.
I also really liked how strongly the book focuses on human aspects throughout, whether that be leadership, building trust, empowering your people or the importance of communication.

The topic is always relevant but in these very challenging and unpredictable times, the subject matter is more important than ever.
I have read many management and strategy books that cover the themes of change and disruption but this book is very well structured and organised logically. It has practical tips and traps that can be easily applied to all manner of industries and businesses - small and large and the useful summaries at the end of each chapter are a handy checklist and go to guide. Absolutely money well spent.
