Ordinarily, these cups are the best for my older little one (3-5years) to use on the go. These do leak if on their side or upside down, the lid will easily come off at slight pressure.
They do melt on bottom of dishwasher, but are 100% top rack dishwasher safe.
These are perfectly priced for travel, and no tears wasted when they break. I will continue to buy these for a long time! These even stack well for travel or cabinet space savings.
The silicon cap is cute, but I never found it functional, as it always pops off the spout.
The nalgene grip n gulp (kids nalgene) and the take n toss cups. Both are full with 8 oz of milk. Also, there is a photo of lid showing the holes. New boxes of cups, each set of four with a Travel cap. Colors vary. Front/back of packaging. Cup showing how travel cap attaches.

For an incredibly cheap price tag and meant for "no worries" if you lose them, they are surprisingly sturdy. My son does chew the sip part and while they leave little scratches, it is no worse than more expensive sippy cups. Also, I was VERY shocked at their level of spill proof. When I clean sippies, I like to dump the cap upside down to let the soapy water drip through the holes. Well, nothing came out until I shook very, very hard.
I'm going to stick with these from now on. I also like the straw ones, though it's much easier to lose those(the straws, that is). What's nice about buying either one, is that the lids are interchangeable. You lose a straw one, ok no problem - Just put the lid from the classic sipper on it.
My issues with these cups is my kid is just getting out of bottles so knocks over, throws, drops, and chews on her cups. If tipped it will leak out the spout. The lid is tight enough to stand up to drinking, but will definitely not stay on if dropped from say high chair height. Also not sure I would trust these filled in a diaper bag even with the cap on The lid. I'd be afraid The lid would come loose. The pack comes with I think 1 or 2 caps for the kids, and they work ok as well.
For what they are though the price is good. And they are functional if used outdoors or under supervision.
