Honestly, I almost stopped reading this book at 20% because I found myself bored. The only reason I kept reading was because I ended up telling someone about the first 20% of this book and it was more interesting talking about it then actually reading it. I did continue on with the book and it was an ok story. Of course, a lot of drama but there always is with politics.
There was this one paragraph at the end of chapter 60 that ended with, "But I love your body too. You’re comfy to sleep on, beautiful to hold, and you look like a mom. You look like a woman to come home to at night.” Out of all the thousands upon thousands of romance novels I've read, I have never read a man telling a 28yr old woman that doesn't have any kids that he loves her body because she looks like a mom. I don't know of any young, childless woman that would want to hear that about her body. That's just me being nitpicky but this book is good enough to read once.
