From the manufacturer

Final E3000
With the entry of Final into the dynamic earphone world, the E3000 dynamic earphones have been created to provide excellent sound quality with a straightforward design for budget conscious audio lovers. With natural sound that does not emphasize any frequency range specifically, the E3000 provides an overall smooth frequency response for a natural listening experience.
High Resolution Sound
Ensuring the balance of frequencies, the small-aperture dynamic driver in the E3000 have not been tuned to accent any frequency range which would mask other frequencies. With this Final have managed to achieve a flat and natural sound in a dynamic driver that has been crafted with utmost care and precision.

Key Features

|
|
|
---|---|---|---|
Innovative Vent DesignTo enable accurate airflow of the E3000, a small opening at the back of the housing extends the reproduction of low frequencies. A filter inside prevents sound leakage from the vent and a strong stainless steel grid protects the interior. |
Unique Swing Fit EarpiecesTo achieve the shortest path of sound waves to the eardrum, the E3000 have been designed with a unique swing fit mechanism that enables the earpieces to be positioned and tilted to the ideal orientation towards the ear canal. With this design the sound is propelled directly to the auditory canal opening up a world of clear and satisfying sound. |
Precision Dynamic DriverHighest levels of precision have been implemented in the construction of the small-scale dynamic driver unit. Every part has been carefully assembled with levels of attention and care unusual for dynamic drivers at this price point. |
Sound ImageThe sound is powerful and combines core low frequencies and clear mid-to high frequencies that are not masked by the low frequencies. With a well-balanced sound reproduction from low through to high frequencies and high definition, the E3000 is ideally suited for all types of music. |

but still i will give only 4 stars to this product. i have used e2000 before and this one here doesnt come with the built in mic for the calls. i bought it without lokking that part, I mean who does look that right?? every audiopile buds should come with atleast a dedicated mic for calls . nobody likes to pull the phone out of the pocket and disconnect the earphone and make a call and afterwards connect again and resume your media from phone itself. i wish if they could return this product and give me an upgrade.
I heard the E2000s are a bit more "well balanced", but I prefer the slightly bassier feel to these. There's more impact to it and the overall sound is more pleasing to me.
I would buy these again no question!
I like to use these with my iPod which works well for corded ear buds. I have blue tooth ear buds as well- a good brand- but not worth the trouble. Just carry around the iPod with these ear buds-ideal!
Little gem from Final.

The earphones themselves are small, simple, and beautifully made. The cable and pouch might have cut corners, but the actual earphones were exquisitely manufactured. The silicone tips were also custom-designed for Final, and they come with clever over-ear guides which are removable. So they saved money in packaging but not the pieces that matters.
The sound is definitely bass-friendly, no doubt about it. Bass is full and boosted. I believe that Final does this with their lower-priced earphones as part of a strategy to wean buyers away from cheaper, skull-shaker earphones, and walk them up the audio quality ladder. They keep the bass-boost at the lower price ranges so first-time buyers get that familiar full bass sound, and hope they get hooked on the detailed mid-range and clear treble, and become curious about the more expensive Final offerings.
These earphones are designed to fit deep in the ear canal - not brain poking deep like Etymotics, but deep - so you get a good seal and isolation from surrounding sounds. It also creates an intimate soundstage. On my equipment, they are largely hiss-free, even with good tube amplification. They are sensitive enough to run directly from a phone, but they do respond well to good amplifiers as well.
Aside from the boosted bass, these are warm and spacious in the mid-range and have clear, accurate treble. It's a full, friendly sound, which is designed to reward all types of music and listeners.
Compared to some earphones in the same price range, the Hifiman RE-400 ($65) lack the boosted bass of the E3000($60), and have a more relaxed, airy sound. The Monoprice XXX ($75) are hotter in the treble and are also boosted in the bass, but more in the mid-bass than the low-bass of the E3000. The mid-bass emphasis in the XXX detracts from the realism of mid-range vocals, when compared to the E3000.
For the price, these are great earphones, especially if you love bass. They are definitely high class in terms of sound, and the money saved in packaging and the cable is well spent in the build quality of the actual earphones. They can serve bass-lovers as their primary earphones, or as a bass-friendly option for music lovers who enjoy different earphones for different types of music.

The cables are quite thin and very supple, easily wrapping around the included silicone ear hooks, which are able to conform to the shape of the upper earlobe and are also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The ear hooks do a superb job of eliminating cable noise and also provide strain relief where the cables attach to the monitors. This is an important function as the cables are not removable/replaceable. (To get this feature you need to step up to the E4000 or E5000.)
Because of the perforated rear surface of the cases, these IEMs are ideal for listening to music in a quiet setting. If you want to be able to enjoy music while in a noisy environment, you will either need to wear external hearing protection, or you will need to purchase a set of noise-isolating IEMs instead. I once tried listening to music with the E3000s while on a flight... in spite of a good seal to my ear canal, the noise from the jet engines totally drowned out the music!
As someone who appreciates good-quality sound, I recommend these earphones to those who have discerning ears, but are on a tight budget. Audiophiles who can afford to should opt for one of the more refined (and more expensive) offerings from this excellent company.

These fit perfectly, you can barely feel them at all. The sound is great! And it even has the ear support to tuck them behind the ear and go behind you made from a silicone that is also soft and comfortable.
Sound isolation with the silicone tips are very good too! I usually use my foam tips for my 315s when on stage, but these feel so good and are decent for everyday life.
Honestly... Buy these... Don't waste your money on something else... These are the earphones you've been looking for!

Are they competitve with closely priced products, e.g. by Sony and Fiio (F5) is a more difficult question.
Pros: very small, very light, nice tips, fits nicely and comfortable; over ear optional fit is really nice; sounds amazingly for a small single driver and OK/competitive overall.
Cons: wires do not impress as being able to withstand tough handling; shiny stainless steel does not look/feel premium compared to the competition; thin synthetic leather bag provided feels quite sad - can't imagine it being used.
Overall: 4.3-4.5 stars, rounded to four.
