I'm loving this series! This was such a beautiful, heartfelt and fun read. I was entertained by the Wilde family, and loved meeting Lio and his family and friends too. The addition of the details about glassmaking was interesting and so well written that it had me heading to YouTube to witness the magic visually. I loved that we got to see this side of Felix.
The chemistry between Felix and Lio is off the charts! And it was more than just physical - they also connected intellectually and challenged each other. I did like that despite their intense connection, Felix also had enough spine and support from his family to be able to stand up for himself - that he wouldn't be someone's secret or the reason their life was thrown into turmoil.
The side plot with Felix's mother was well written and resolved well - loved that he had support from everyone on his decision there.
The ending was well written and I loved how it played out - especially Felix's realisation about how lucky they were to have Doc and Grandpa paving the way for all the gay people in their family with them living in Texas - to have those amazing role models and support network made it easier for the rest of the family to be their true selves.
I'm definitely looking forward to more in this series, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this series.
